Nice property but more needs to be done
August 18, 2025Portico is in a great location off Harbor Blvd, close to a freeway, and right across the street from Costco AND an Amazon Fresh and tons of food options. The actual property can be improved much more, the gate to the underground garage was always breaking down, staying open for anyone to come in. Homeless people would be roaming in the garbage area and right off the property. There was a time where I saw a homeless person ON the property. Tenants DO NOT clean up after their dogs, it gets ...disgusting in the dog park and after countless complaints to the office, nothing was done. There would be threats of increased fines but no one was punished. Water would be randomly shut down and a lot of times there wouldn’t be hot water.Property Manager Responded

February 25, 2022These are not luxury apartments. This apartment complex also Airbnb‘s their free apartments. There is a running list of how ridiculous the issues that the apartment complexes has. 1. The water pipes are awful and smelly -you can smell them through your bathroom pipes and kitchen pipes 2. Renovations are cheap and easily damaged. Management will try to chip you and get you to pay for repairs 3. The dog park smell really bad and they carry 4. If you have a balcony that looks into other peoples ...backyards you can see that people are hoarding stuff - it’s not a pretty view 5. The Jacuzzi is broken so you’re just sitting in lukewarm water 6. You will lose mail, its guaranteed 7. I had a gas leak once and I brought it to maintenance attention and they tried to tell me that it wasn’t an issue. When they got a specialist to check it out and confirm the gas leak, I called management to confirm that they have permission to proceed with the repairs and I got a response with awful attitude 8. Newly renovated, in very central location
May 18, 2019I moved in to one of their 2 bedrooms a couple months ago. So far it's been great, the new management have been very responsive to my requests, and took care of everything timely. So far, I'm glad I chose this apartment especially considering how centrally located it is in Fullerton!Property Manager Responded

Stay for far away
April 24, 2019STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS DUMP. It may look pretty from the inside but this whole apartment is a disaster. I wish I would have listened to the warning from past tenants before moving in. This complex was called another name before I moved in "Veranda Apartments". When I was researching them the awful reviews scarred me--not one good thing said about them, but since they were under "new" management, with a new name, I decided to look past that. Well GOD, I wish I hadn't. Not only is the ...property management awful, but they DO NOT GIVE SECURITY DEPOSITS BACK. I don't mean they take a bunch of your money, I mean they take it all and refuse to give it back, making up lies about how it was sent in the mail, or it's coming soon. I am now dealing with the headache of having to sue them in court for my $1000 deposit back and it's not fun. I spent weeks and weeks given the benefit of the doubt when they would tell me my check was sent and seemed to be "lost". And this isn't even covering all the apartment, service stories that I have like a disgusting fly infestation that occurred in my apartment and more.... So, save yourself the headache and look elsewhere...just though I'd warn everyone. 0 stars if I couldProperty Manager Responded

Not Worth The Price; Not Even Close
August 10, 2018I've lived here for 9 months and still don't have a working dishwasher... whenever there's a plumbing problem, they drain it into the underground garage so that to walk to your car you have to walk past sewage and poop... I had a plumbing problem and when I complained that it was taking too long to fix, they finally fixed it but left my toilet covered in poop (it was on the handle, all over the seat, on the lid, on the sides, everywhere). And there's cockroaches everywhere.Property Manager Responded

My Manager Adrianna is so helpful and has treated me with so much love ever since I started living here.
