My unit is infested with roaches. I requested an exterminator. He came in and quickly sprayed a few walls in less than 3 minutes. There was no examination, no questions asked (not many words at all really), just a quick spray. Didn’t even at least pull out the fridge or stove. Unit is still crawling with roaches. Our refrigerator had broken down & they took weeks just to give us a dirty, refurbished fridge. THAT fridge broke down & they took several more weeks just to fix it. In the past I’ve ...
tried to contact the property manager & excuse after excuse was given as to why he wasn’t able to speak that day.

It’s actually been really good, I haven’t had a problem with anything at my apartment. Maintenance is amazing and the staff is amazing too. They make sure you’re well taken care of.

THEY HAVE A THEATER ROOM!!!! They also have a study room which I thought was pretty cool I always invited my classmates to the study room to finish projects that we had for class. Afterwards we’d go sit in the hammock garden and relax. It’s always really quiet and on game days it’s always fun.

Previous apartments I stayed in didn’t care about their residents or the security of the complex. Samford Squares office staff and maintenance staff always took care of me wether I had a bad day and called upset about a bill or had problems with my apartment they spoke to me with poise and care. Wonderful property 10/10 would recommend staying here.

According to the management the washer and dryer are “amenities” and therefore not guaranteed. So, long story short, plan on doing your laundry at a laundry mat if you live here. My son hasn’t had a working washer since he moved in and they have no timeline on when it might be fixed. Also, has only had a/c about half the time.

Bugs AC issues and broken sinks

My apartment was infested with carpet beetles and the leasing manager initially refused to pay the bill for the carpet cleaning services, almost to a point of a yelling match. Aside from the lack of professionalism, the staff waives certain fees to residents if they leave good reviews--hence: do not trust the good reviews. You'd be better off living in your car than here.

I would not recommend anyone live here. Some of the staff is friendly, most do not know what they are talking about. The unit itself can range from disgusting to mediocre, depending on which building and unit you're placed in.

Been here for 2 years since July 2018 and have never had a bad incident. The management and front office are nice and super helpful. The maintenance gets stuff done when they say they will. And the inside is actually real nice and looks a lot newer than a lot of other apartments in Auburn. If you are looking for a low rent with a nice apartment Samford Square is the spot.

This is a superb property and extremely affordable with plenty of parking. The grounds are lovely and Instagram-worthy. And The leasing staff is super helpful. I've only had one interaction with maintenance, but their response time was great. Plus, they were extremely polite and friendly. I highly recommend.
