NOT FIXING MOLD IN WASHING MACHINE! They claim that it’s a “cosmetic issue”
April 29, 2026 - Reseña de Apartments.comThey are saying the mold in the washing machine is a "cosmetic issue" even though it's smells like mold and looks like mold. We have been living here for a month and they have still have not fixed the washing machine and it's to the point that we are waking up feeling sick all the time. Mold is a health hazard and it says in paragraph 25 and 31 of our lease that they must fix anything that causes health hazards.... Yet that won't fix this so we have been going back and forth with them for a month ...now.The apartment was disgusting when we moved in. The paint job is horrible and they didn't clean before they painted so they just painted a bunch of hair into the wall.. the floors were covered in filth and shoe prints. The cabinets in the kitchen have a paper that was poorly put on so it's now coming up. Once we moved our stuff in I noticed there was glass stuck in the dishwasher. January 30, 2025 - Reseña de Apartments.comJust recently moved here a couple months ago. Would say the best part about this place is the location and the sky room but it pretty much ends there. The complex is built poorly so you will be able to hear footsteps above you clearly and also be able to hear the humming and vibrations of the fans below, gonna add they also will put people with dogs around you so be prepared for barking and hearing them run around. The pool also doesn’t have a heater so it is pretty cold for the most part but the ...pool does look nice. The showers heat don’t last very long either only a couple minutes and also there is lots of dog poop all over the complex even on the stairs so beware of that. Also my cabinets laminate was falling off and they came to “fix” it and it looked the exact same I’ll include pics so don’t count on maintenance too much. Bad Experience
August 1, 2023 - Reseña de Apartments.comResidents simply do not pick up after their pets. I received weekly emails regarding this issue but not a single one made a difference. The surrounding area as well as inside the building stairwells are always littered and South Ridge does absolutely nothing about it. There is a big cockroach problem, at least in the main building 1. I lived on the top floor and still had pest control making visits regularly, especially during the warmer months. The entire building’s fire alarms went off ...CONSTANTLY. I suggest investing in some nice noise canceling headphones and ear plugs, you’re going to need them. To top it all off, they decided to deduct $30 from my security deposit for a burnt out light bulb. When I asked them why I was being charged for this, their response was a single image of the light and an image of the inspection form I filled out on day one of moving in. I have not felt safe in my apartment since the second week of moving here. My lease is up in 3 months and I have tried to get out of it multiple times because I want to LEAVE. I have called the cops over six times to help me with residents that have attempted to make their way into my apartment uninvited, screaming fights in common areas, blasting music/movies at 4AM on a Wednesday ...and neighbors that make threats for no reason at all. Management and staff basically non-existent
October 16, 2020 - Reseña de Apartments.comManagement and staff are not responsive at all. They won't respond to any emails or return phone calls, but they can post on social media all the time to try to promote their public image. Also, upon moving out of the apartment we were told we would receive notice within 7 days if we owed any money for damages. 4 MONTHS LATER after receiving no emails or mail from South Ridge, my roommates and I receive notice from a collection agency that we owe $700 to South Ridge and they are going to report ...us to the credit bureau. This is after receiving no explanation or communication from South Ridge whatsoever. Still can't get a response from them after several calls and emails were sent regarding the issue. Even as a resident, I sent several emails to South Ridge with questions (during COVID-19 when their office was closed) and never once received a response.Leer MásProperty Manager Responded

looks nice but be wary
June 7, 2020 - Reseña de Apartments.comThe unit itself is nice. but thats about it. Stairwells are disgusting. Elevators are always trashed and break frequently. Do you love having a fire alarm wake you up at 2 AM? well youre in luck, it goes off all the time and usually in the middle of the night. There is also dog poop everywhere you dont even want to walk your dog around here. Ive seen cockroaches several times. I would stay away...Property Manager Responded

We have recently hired a company that has been cleaning the breezeways weekly, and are in process of upgrading our current fire system. July 27, 2018 - Reseña de Apartments.comDO NOT LIVE HERE unless you want to be monthly woken up at 2AM on a Friday morning or 7AM on a Saturday morning to the extra sensitive and ear piercing fire alarms throughout the complex. This place is awful! The pointless security fobs never work and they added “premium parking” on each level to try and get you to pay ~$25 more than your $50/mo to park in the garage. Bottom line... if you like to sleep in past 7am on the weekend... don’t do it!!!Property Manager Responded
