Homeless encampments - unsafe for families
February 17, 2026This apartment building has a growing homeless population living and openly setting fires/using drugs in their dumpster area that is shared with LA fitness parking. This property management company has failed to address this issue despite there being several calls to the Seattle Police regarding dangerous activity. Spruce Apartments has not contained the area and its becoming unsafe for us residents. I would not recommend living here to anyone, especially those with young children.Property Manager Responded

Construction Noise
April 15, 2024There are new town homes being built behind the B building and you will listen to nail guns at least six days a week. Right now there is hammering at 8pm. If you work from home, have small children, or enjoy peaceful nights, do not move in here.Property Manager Responded

anemities don't make this place great
February 23, 2024you can see the amenities the complex boasts about, and they are, for the most part, available and functional. what they will not speak about is the abhorrent security. there is no security guard at night, as we have had in other complexes in Seattle we have lived in. in the half year I have lived here, we have had problems with storage units being broken into leisurely - enough time to go through many of the storage spaces. cars have been repeatedly broken into, and neighbors told me that they ...have had this problem for over a year now. the complex reacts by blaming the residents and stating they have no means of bettering the security. we're left alone with the dangers of living here, without help offered by the owners.Property Manager Responded

September 17, 2021This complex is the most dog friendly place Ive ever lived. There's plenty of neighborhoods to walk around in, a dog run/play area on the roof, and a dog washing area that is super nice for my big dog. The community areas are very inviting and comfortable. The parking is protected and easy to get in and out of and the building as a whole seems very safe since the key fob is needed at every entrance point.Property Manager Responded

Moved in a few months ago - love it so far!
November 27, 2020We really love the area, and Spruce was actually the first apartment here that caught our eye. The floorplan we were interested in wasn’t available when we first looked, but thankfully it opened up and we happily inquired and got pictures, info, and placed a hold deposit all on the same day. The amenities are great and we appreciate how friendly and welcoming the leasing staff has been. The parking is steep at $150 a car but we like our parking spots and the garage feels secure, so we’re fine ...with it. Being so close to everything (Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods, MOD, Starbucks) is just beyond convenient. The gym is closed right now, but when it was open it had all the essentials so we didn’t have to get a membership at the LA Fitness under us.Property Manager Responded
