Nothing good
October 14, 2020I recently moved out of Stadium View Apartments and had nothing but trouble. Cars constantly get broken into, mine got broken into four times while living here. The complex itself has a terrible smell just walking in. The hallways leading to the apartments also have a terrible smell. There is no common courtesy here either. Maintenance man is pretty creepy, and I felt extremely uncomfortable when he would be in my apartment. It took weeks for anything to be fixed. It is also hard to get a ...response from the leasing office. They seem to ignore everyone. At first I thought they were only ignoring me, but as I talked to others they said they would reach out and get no response from the office at all. The apartment itself can be made to look nice, but it is not worth the hassle. This apartment complex needs some major help if they want people to live here. I do NOT recommend living here. I am much happier now that I decided to move out instead of continuing my lease. P.S. my old neighbor told me that some of the apartments have cockroachesProperty Manager Responded
October 22, 2020Thank-you taking the time to give us a candid review, so we can continue to grow and serve our valued residents to the best of our ability. As the new property manager that has been here for the last month and half and with the company at other properties for a few years now, it is not nor has ever been the goal of MGI to have dissatisfied residents that feel ignored. Since my time here we have overhauled some staff to ensure that residents are being heard and the issues you have brought to the forefront are addressed in accordance with the Ohio Revised Code. Under no circumstance are the conditions you mentioned acceptable and since my time here, I can vouch that such maintenance requests have been addressed and/or scheduled for the appropriate vendor the same day. Hallways are cleaned twice a month by our contracted vendor and carpets are scheduled twice a year for routine carpet cleaning (fall and spring). Currently, hallway carpets are scheduled for cleaning the 1st week in ...November. In regards to the “Maintenance Man that is pretty creepy”, I absolutely can assure you the man I know you are referencing is the kindest man we have on our roster and would help anyone day or night. It is unfortunate that you felt uncomfortable and had you voiced your uncomfortableness I am sure a substitute maintenance tech could have been utilized in lieu for your convenience. As I always tell my resident’s crime does not have a zip code and reporting issues immediately to local law enforcement helps to continue community patrol responses.
