To be honest, Sterling is not perfect. It has it's issues, and things break sometimes. But the staff does a wonderful job making up for it, and making it an overall great place to live. (Special shout-out to Marvell. While things do break a little less than an ideal amount, he does a great job getting things fixed/replaced as quickly as possible. He handles every maintenance issue himself, and is a super hero.) It helps that most(all?) of the front desk staff also live in the building, so they
...are not detached about any issues - they are invested in keeping The Peaks clean and comfortable, and when you walk into the office they are always eager to chat and get to know you; after-all, they are our neighbors as well. (Special shout-out to Rachel in the front office. She is one of the sweetest people I know, and she is always willing to help out where she can, or answer any questions you may have. No problem is too petty for her to listen to and understand, and I promise you'll leave with a smile after talking to her. Brittany and Chris are also splendid; I just personally haven't had as much interaction with them as with Rachel and Marvell).
Also, this is a great place to move if you are new to Boulder and don't know anyone. I have met so many people here, whether it was at the fire, the pool, the hot tub, or the game room/vending machines. Definitely going to move out with more friends that I moved in with. There is a survey you take when you move in that matches you up with your roommates, and while this is not an exact science, I got matched up with two of the greatest humans.
