    Very quiet and clean community. The apartments itself are a tad bit older which brings its own minor issues. However, the maintenance and Mrs.Kelly has always been extremely helpful and quick to respond to such issues. I will highly recommend to others!

    Summer Glen is absolutely the Best apartment community I have Lived in Ever ! The Apartments are Ideal for Older tennants and Singles and Couples that want a quiet Life. The Property Is WELL maintained. Many Great restaurants within walking distance ! I Moved in last Year after selling my Home after Hurricane Irma. I am More than satisfied with The Staff and Management here ! All Units are Single story --Well Built--Well Maintained- Double Wall construction--Awesome Neighborhood.

  • Clean, nice, & quiet community

    I have lived in Summer Glen since April 2017. I was lucky to be squeezed in when an opening in their waiting list popped up as I was moving to Jacksonville. While living here, I have had no regrets in choosing this community and will be sad to leave. The community is very well kept and quiet, yet close to everything at the same time. There are no parties here, and the community is not flashy, but that is what makes it "homey". Everyone waves at each other and says hi when either grabbing ...
    their mail or walking their dog. I particularly loved the location which allowed me to commute to nearly every hospital in Jacksonville (from the beaches to Orange Park and downtown) all within 20 minutes. The apartments are a little dated, but that translates to affordable. Whenever I had an issue (which was seldom), it was typically handled within 24 hours by the maintenance man whom everyone knows and sees on a daily basis as he patrols the neighborhood to keep the place clean when he's not working. Had it not been for an unforeseen circumstance, I would be staying here. I hope the tenant that replaces me enjoys the community as much as I have.

  • Would definitely recommend!

    My wife and I lived here from July 2016 to September 2017. It was our first year in USA and our first apartment. This was a very pleasant living experience for us. The community is very quiet and you feel very safe always. The location is very convenient as it is just 15 minutes from Town Center and Downtown. The apartments although are not brand new they are kept very well, this thanks to the unstoppable work of Larry, the maintenance guy. He is very friendly, polite, very quick, professional ...
    and always ready to help you with any problem, any time. He is more like a friend. The management lady, Carmela, is also very friendly and willing to help. She doesn't hesitate to listen to you anytime you need a maintenance service or even when you need an advice for the area around the neighborhood and places where to go. They both make an exceptional team. Keep up the great work!

  • Friendly and safe small town atmosphere.

    I will be approaching the first year living here and have to say that I can not take out a pen fast enough to renew my lease. It is affordable and is such a nice feeling to go home at whatever time and feel safe. Neighbors are friendly and watch out for one another. The management is very professional and go out of their way to maintain a clean and safe environment for the tenants. It is very apparent how management takes care of the complex, you just need to drive through and see how well ...
    kept up it is. Tenants planting flowers outside their unit was my first good sign. Having attic storage is an studio apartment is the highlight . I have had several small issues and maintenance took care of it almost immediately. I would recommend this complex to anyone . It is really nice to call this place home!

    All the convenience of black mold. Upgrades of new flooring and paint to coverup the smell of strong ammonia from the black mold. Construction of complex is water underneath like a trailer home and roofing problems. Many people moved out cause nothing was done to satisfy tenants. That one review should tell you, so positive but not truthful. Many are forced to stay, on a fixed income, so they're trap in this mold-infested trailer homes.

    I am going on my third year living here, and have been nothing but pleased. It is a quite neighborhood with friendly neighbors, and a wonderful management staff. The maintenance staff is very timely, efficent, and helpful. I love living here. Being that all the apartments are 1 stories is just icing on top.

  • Affordable and centrally located

    It takes a special place to keep me from moving every year and this apartment is it! I do not like to pay for things I don't use so tennis courts, gyms, and pools do not interest me. (the ocean is about 15 miles away! What apartment offers attic space? This does! (enough storage space for all my Christmas Decorations, off-season clothes, lamp shades, extra dining room chairs, etc) What apartment offers an actual laundry room? Not a closet but an real room with enough space to put a twin bed and ...
    small dresser in it? (without the washer/dryer)This does! The units are not new but are sturdy and undergo upgrades. And there aren't many apartments where all are one-story, which I love. No one running or stomping their feet in the middle of the night (hence the attic) The grounds are not magazine cover but are regularly maintained. The staff is always accommodating and ready to assist whenever needed. The Leasing Manager is awesome and just installed picnic tables and BBQ grills throughout the complex. The people are friendly and watch out for one another, making it more of a community and a complex. Oh yes, did I mention the Leasing Manager is awesome? She works hard to make improvements to both the apartments' interior and grounds. Want your own flowers outside your apartment? Are roses your favorite? No problem; keep them in containers or plant them in the ground. The Manager allows us to "make it our own"
