Had a wonderful experience living in the Americana Apartments. The management is excellent and I highly recommend it to anyone who's looking for a place in downtown Columbus.

Best affordable downtown apartment

I’ve lived here for 5 years and recently moved out due to personal reasons. I truly had a great experience living here. The community is well diverse and the staff is wonderful! Highly recommend if you are looking for affordable living in the Columbus downtown area!
First Apartment Living in Downtown Columbus

This was the first place I stopped when I wanted to move downtown and I just walked in, asked what they had available and they showed me a unit. Easy! The rent was fantastic, the interior was really nice, I like the vintage look of the place. The location is excellent, it is really close to my job. I lived there for 2 years and 8 months. Sometimes I regret moving out!
The staff is amazing, I always had good help with the maintenance and the leasing agent. Never any problems. The building is ...
very well insulated so it stayed cool in the summer and warm in the winter, despite there not being any central air in the units.
The community there is really nice too. Long term residents that are friendly and know what's going on.
The laundry and fitness rooms are fantastic. I loved having what felt like my own private gym. Sure sometimes things would be taken up, but not having to pay a gym membership really saves on the money.
All and all, I couldn't recommend moving here enough.

The Americana is a great apartment. The staff are friendly and responsive with maintenance requests. My best friend lives one floor above me and I would say that it is a positive community. The location is hard to beat, as it is walking distance to both downtown and German Village. I have been so impressed by the Americana that I even recommended it to a co-worker who ended up moving here as well. The only reason I am leaving is because I am moving out of state, but if I return to Columbus, the ...
Americana is my first choice.
Overall, it is well run facility, in a fantastic location, and a good value in price.

I've been a tenant for 16 years! The reasons:
1. Rent is reasonable.
2. Public transportation and highways readily accessible.
3. Very well kept and incredibly quiet!

I've been living at the Americana Apartment since 2009 and love living here.The management team here are great and caring. Very clean inside and out, the benefits of living here,downtown are free parking, free Cable including HBO, secure building,updated workout facility, most of all great neighbors.

Great value for location and price. Owners haven’t updated carpet and wallpaper in years so the common areas are really junky. Management allowed one resident to glue (repeat, glue) kitsch and other junk to the tables in the common lobby and it looks really cheap and not uniform. Really turns off potential new residents.

this whole entire complex is infested with bedbugs. I have spoken to many of the residents that continue to have
this problem. When I first went and told rich of the issue, he had told me that he is 100% sure that I brought them in to my place myself. How
can anyone be 100% sure of this? He kept mentioning that no other residents had this issue but he was going to be nice and pay for the
extermination just this first time but every time after this I will need to pay. I spoke over the phone ...
with the exterminator that Rich hired and we set up the
time and date for her to come by. I had asked her to call me an hour before she arrives so that way I could meet her and speak with her in person
about the issue. She never called me. I actually ended up coming home from work to meet her since she didn't call and found out that she was
already at my place spraying. I thought that this was a little weird. I went inside and saw that she was spraying with what looked like a big can
of Raid. She also was not wearing a mask or gloves or any type of protection. I found that very very odd. I asked her what kind of chemicals she
was using to kill the bed bugs and she could not give me a straight answer, she just kept describing what it does and how it works. I had her
come back a second time which did not rid the issue. I told Rich and he said that I will need to pay for the 3rd treatment. I asked why would I
have to pay and he responded that he said that he only pays for the first occurance. I explained to him that this is still the first occurance
since the issue was never resolved. Rich and I have been arguing about this for 2 months now and I am still living out of bags which is
completely riduculous. I am planning on calling the health department and also told him that I would be going to the news channels to report
this. Since I have told him this, he gave me an eviction notice and expects me to leave within 45 days. This is the worst property management
that I have ever dealt with and I do not wish this on any future resident. I will be moving out and of course be having to pay for my belongings
to be exterminated so that I do not bring the bugs to my next residence. I DO NOT RECOMMEND MOVING IN!!!!
