Save your $40 application fee (per person) and don't bother applying. They will deny you, even when you're perfectly qualified, for things you have no control over and then keep your money. My husband and I refused to link our bank account to their AI platform, because who would want their random AI to have access to something personal like that, and chose to verify our income through bank statements instead. Uploaded 6 months of bank statements as required, but their AI wouldn't accept it ...
because we couldn't provide July's statement (a 7th month not even required) due to the fact that we were applying in July, and banks don't release statements until after the current month is over. Tried using paystubs next, but their AI still wouldn't accept it because it wanted a paystub from a time period that I wasn't working and therefore could not provide a paystub for, even though I tried submitting my offer letter to prove I did not start my job until after the time period they wanted, and provided every other paystub I had. Wasn't able to reach a human until after the application was denied due to "not providing documentation of income" where they confirmed we would need to provide documents, that again, we physically did not have. So really, the humans there are no better than their AI, and if their application process is that absurd, I can only imagine what they're like as landlords.
