Nice apartments, but no security
June 24, 2021We have lived in the Hawthorne Apartments for about 6 months and we initially liked the space and location. However, we have had several burglaries and vandalism events since being here and management has been unhelpful at best. After weeks of spotty contact their final solution for me was to offer to take away my parking so I could afford to replace my stolen items. Cameras in building do not capture incidents and the on-site Security phone number does not work.Review from Apartments.com
Surprisingly quiet and comfortable place to live
April 27, 2017I'm a native Portlander and I needed a place to live in between buying and selling a house. I also wanted to be close to a lot of bars and shops. This place was right on the money. I was surprised at how quiet it was there, even though I had an apt that faced Hawthorne. Only noises I could hear was the occasional garbage truck in the morning and didn't hear other street noise unless I opened my window. I also lived there with an 80 lb dog and a small cat. It is a very dog friendly place and ...many residence had dogs. I had 2 or 3 maintenance requests when I was there and they were taken care of rather quickly. I'd recommend this place to anyone that wants a nice, new quiet apt close to the best neighborhood in Portland!Property Manager Responded
