Best place to live in Greenville!
February 18, 2025I am in my third year living at The Madison and am a very happy resident because: 1) the management staff keeps the complex spotless, including the gym and pool - and this is significant because this is a dog-friendly property, and the grounds are always clean. Lawn care is regular - throughout all seasons; 2) the maintenance staff ensures that you are comfortable in your home by responding to all repairs in a timely manner. They repair everything - from replacing bulbs in light fixtures to ...repairing any leaks immediately to installing a new HVAC system in your home (I've had all these things done over three years, and the response has been consistent). 3) The gym and pool stay clean, and neighbors are kind - everyone gets along. It is quiet here with no drama. And the complex is tree-lined, so window views from your home are lovely. Parking is good, too. The management team here honors your apartment as not just a place where you stay - but as your HOME - which makes The Madison a wonderful place to live in Greenville, NC.Property Manager Responded

Expect to wait weeks/months to get a maintenance concern fixed.
July 12, 2024If you like to have your maintenance requests handled in a timely manner, or at all, don’t live here. We have had many issues since moving in including being filthy upon moving in, A/C issues they refuse to fix, roach problems, dishwasher problems, door lock problems, washing machine problems that have still yet to be fixed, and more. They are slow to respond to requests (I'm talking weeks, not days). The younger guys seem incompetent when they do finally come to fix a problem. They seem to put ...Band-Aids on things rather than actually fixing the problem, which leads to more (and more serious) problems in the future. And they close out maintenance requests without completing them. With our most recent problem with our washer, the excuse as to why they haven't fixed it yet was because they have many AC and leak issues that have to take priority. I understand that AC issues and leaks would take priority. What I don’t understand is why they have so many AC issues and leaks??? Maybe they need to be discussing some preventative measures and take care of requests before they become more of an issue. I have never had such slow responses or lack of care from maintenance in an apartment complex before. I know it is not entirely their fault as they take direction from the woman in the front office.Property Manager Responded

Loved living there
August 17, 2022My daughter lived at the Madison this past year while attending graduate school. She wanted a conventional apartment setting rather than student living. She loved living there. It was quiet and she felt very safe. I never worried about her while she was there. The only reason she did not renew her lease was because she moved away from Greenville when the school year was over.Property Manager Responded

DIRTY AS HELL
July 4, 2022They never clean around here. Gym will be empty of toilet paper an supplies for weeks. They let tenants throw trash bags on ground an take 2 weeks to get it. They never answer an when they do they act like the never got your message. Worst place everProperty Manager Responded
