June 20, 2019Management is terrible , the a/c leaks , parking is HORRIBLE! No where for your guest to park . And if you come home late you will not find parking . The sliding doors close on their own and you will get locked outside your balcony or patio . The sinks paint started peeling . Washer and dryer they “provide” was never told i had to pay monthly for them when i signed the lease . The floor is literally slanted ! Maintenance takes a week to fox something so simple . March 6, 2019This complex is the absolute worst! The management is rude and unwilling to resolve any issues you may have..in other words, they care nothing about their tenants. The place has recently been infested with roaches and rats and black mold keeps showing up in all areas of several apartments. Several tenants have left before their lease was up because it is that bad. No hot water, nothing fixed, no follow up calls, nothing considered an emergency. I have had plumbing problems for months, sewage ...coming up in sink, dishwasher, under the floors, they did nothing except temporary fixes and then when kitchen finally flooded for the 7th time, they tore up the floor and left us in an unfit unit without access to a stove, sink, or anything. Their verbal promises mean nothing. We are still on our 5th week of no kitchen access, as were our neighbors and have suffered from illnesses from the unsanitary conditions. City has been called out and found there were no permits that are required and most workers were unlicensed. Missed work, large take out food bills, and yet we were all expected to pay full rent! I would definitely NOT recommend anyone reside here. You will not be treated fairly and staff is disrespectful to say the least. We are tenants living here that are reasonable, fair people but they are not. When you do nothing to resolve issues, that is just wrong. Ask anyone who resided here or is residing here as of now and they will tell you the same, with photos, I might add..these people owning and operating this complex do not care about their tenants. It's that simple. The office is very aesthetic to the eye but come into any apartment and you will see different. Residents are breaking leases as I report this just to get away from here. It's sad when you put yourself above tenants who just want to reside in their home and feel valued. You won't find that here so consider anywhere but here. The management sucks and they tow your car for not having a permit when they don’t provide permits or the need to inform residents of the permit. Also the whole first floor is leaning. July 1, 2017The people who write negative things are most likely the ones who do not keep a clean home. I have lived here for years and I always pay my bills on time plus I keep a clean home. I guess that's why I never had any bug issues. Like any home at times something may need a fix but every single time I have contacted the office the issue was resolved in less than 24 hours. Example, AC needed coils cleaned and they came over and cleaned it the same day. Wanted a really cold refrigerator, Jennifer the ...Manager stayed late with the guys to make sure I got it. The staff is outstanding and the grounds are beautiful. I can take a walk around and we have a water view plus they pool is always clean unlike some other places I have seen. Here's the truth of the matter, there are some who just do not know how to take care of their homes, they live in a mess and dishes pile up which is gross if only they would just put it in their dishwasher they would not have issues. Others like myself take pride in our home and community so when you come inside our homes it's clean and you will be amazed on how huge it is. It's all about pride in your community, good personal hygiene and keeping a clean home. The neighbors around me have lived here 7 years and we see all love it. I do not write reviews but this is one time where the story needs to be set straight, the negative reviews are most likely the few who need to clean up their homes and pay their bills on time then they will experience what life is like without issues. I am not trying to be rude but it's fact, keep your place clean and you will not have bugs and that is living in a house or apartment. We have lived here 3 years
August 5, 2016In the few years we have lived here, we have dealt with bed bugs TWICE, roaches, leaking walls, a broken A/C, dishwasher, & disposal, the water goes out about twice a week at the Worst times, & as I write this our breaker switch has been flipped once again so the lights & our internet is out. When I call the office to put in work orders the line just rings endlessly without an answer, operatior option, OR answering machine. So I'm just stuck here in the dark without internet & I cannot work...Our ...lease can't be over quick enough. & yes, the crime here is PRETTY high. Robberies, theft, assault (I've had to call 911 twice because of the things I have witnessed), our own property manager was arrested last year, & I have seen people be life flighted twice. The 1st time, a man was stabbed by his wife & the 2nd time we never found out what happened. January 25, 2016Apartment was dirty when we moved in and were told someone would come by to take care of it. Infestation of roaches still after 4 months. Sinks backed up in November maint. came by thought they had taken care of the problem, but problem continued came back right after Thanksgiving for same problem and was told pipes were broken underground and could not be fixed. After several talks with mgmnt. nothing has been done. Have given notice because the odor is causing health issues,but am told I am in ...lease violation. Love our new home and thank you to the staff who made the move so easy
August 1, 2015I take care of my mother and we moved in and have really enjoyed our new place. We never lived in a Apt before but this area is perfect and the rate could not be beat. The grounds are beautiful with the so many trees, we feel like we are on vacation. We have used both pools and the residents here are very nice. No issues at all and we are very pleased with the Management Staff of Venus and Omar who have bent over backwards to make sure that everyone is taken care of. We appreciate the gentleman ...who helps with the ground keeping and pools, he is very nice. I think community pride is very important and you can feel this here and get a wonderful since of family.
