    • Worst experience ever…

      Worst experience ever from start to finish ( leaving in September). I should have known from the first conversation with someone here (and how rude she was) how this was going to go... We had a car get stolen, another broken into, the windshield of our new car broken, and no management for MONTHS. Paid a $200 cleaning deposit and the place was trashed. When we would finally get someone as a manager, they were never around, or, when they were, they were too busy. Parking is expensive if you want ...
      covered ($40 a month), and it’s pretty much all compact for options (you will end up squeezed in if you have a larger car). People park wherever they want to anyway, no matter how hard “management” tries to get things figured out. I cannot wait to get out of here! Be forewarned….additionally, there are NO amenities. You get a grill (and there’s never propane) No pool…no weight room…and that grill has rats living in it! Have fun!! Update: I had the place PROFESSIONALLY cleaned on move out as well as the carpets shampooed, and they did NOT refund that deposit (even though when I moved in it was a DISASTER and I paid $200 for a CLEANING deposit). They completely removed the grill right before I moved out, not even getting a new one, so, ZERO amenities. Wow! I’m glad I’m done!

    • reserved paid parking is not actually reserved but still paid.

      If you pay monthly to reserve a parking spot at Townside Flats, there's no guarantee that it'll be saved for you. For the last month, a Nissan truck has been parking in my spot continuously without consideration - my family and I have given verbal and then written message in the form of a note (when conversation didn't seem to work) letting them know this is our reserved spot. They don't care about the fact they're illegally parking and why should they? Management is doing absolutely NOTHING to ...
      address the issue and they don't intend to, either. We're on our own. I've called Joe, the maintenance guy directly several times letting him know about this issue which has been occurring since ~ February 25th and he doesn't seem to have any interest in helping to resolve anything when he has the authority to call the tow company (residents do not have this authority) to remove the car from my spot. He says he needs to know where these people live first? He also said that there's no "computer record" that our two parking spots are ours... even though we've been using these two spots for several years and have the proof of parking assignment form from 2021, not to mention proof of payment every month. We've given the Nissan owner several warnings - they know they're taking someone's paid spot WHY are they not removed ASAP? Why do I have to beg and plead and still NOTHING? Why am I still being charged when I no longer can depend on this spot? I called Joe again yesterday (March 7th) when the Nissan truck was once again parked when I returned home and he gave more excuses but he seemed to relent and promised if it was parked again the next day (today March 8th) then he will call to remove the car. Breakthrough FINALLY right? Well NO, not at all bc when I called him again to notify they were parked in my spot again he refused and hung up on me - he has absolutely no intention of dealing with it. I've called and emailed and provided pictures and documents to management and they are slow to respond offering no resolution so far, either. I don't know where else to turn at this point. Just be aware that if some jerk decides to seize your spot they will do so without any consequences and you'll just have to resign yourself to parking on the street. You'll get no support from management none. They should just remove the tow warning signs bc nobody illegally parked will be towed, ever. AVOID THIS TOWNSIDE FLATS AT ALL COSTS.
