new management, now even worse
February 3, 2026It's been about a month since 232 Management bought this property and they STILL haven't updated any contact information -- we've got no access to maintenance, no means to contact the property manager nor maintenance, and all phone numbers here & on other sites lead to the OLD owners, who no longer have any records of anything on the property. Worse, no one bothered to give out ANY information on the change of ownership to residents, aside from a vague email about the "new online ...portal"....which still lists the OLD phone numbers for the OLD owners and can't be used to submit anything, as maintenance has no access to the system. The apartments themselves are old, but decent -- but unless they give us updated information & maintenance, it's a case of "new boss, same as the old boss". Avoid this place. Until the new owners (232 Management) prove themselves and start addressing the issues here, don't rent here.Leer MásReseña de Apartments.com
Apartments: decent... Management: Horrible
September 5, 2023This place recently taken over by Soundview equities has gone completely downhill. I would recommend to AVOID AT ALL COSTS! The place's "upgrades" are aesthetic at best, they've raised rent by over $400 since living here. I moved out due to these issues, left the place in great shape, and 7 months later STILL DONT HAVE MY SECURITY DEPOSIT back. Yes it may be two bedrooms, have in unit laundry and check many boxes off your wish-list like it did mine... but the headache of a management company ...that's hard to get ahold of, is not responsive to maintenance, and will only take action with leases or deposits unless lawyers are involved is absurd and paying a bit more a month has been way better than living thereProperty Manager Responded

Recent Decline in Quality
August 30, 2023The new management company, Soundview, does not respond in a timely manner to inquiries and maintenance requests. Services that used to be provided, like consistent security and entryway cleaning, are gone. There are numerous deep potholes in the parking lot and my requests to have them fixed have been ignored. I used to love living here, but I am now excited to find a new place in the near future.Property Manager Responded

How many "now leasing" flags do you need out front to scream DESPERATE FOR TENANTS
August 15, 2023Cockroaches, crying children, and slumlords. Found two cockroaches on separate occasions in the building. Landlord adding fees that are not included in my lease, and being VERY unprofessional about it. I can't wait to move out. I found mold in my carpet from a leak that went unfixed (first floor apartment) and the landlord told me it was harmless and didn't do anything. Their "security" is a person in a car with a burnt-out headlight. There's a reason why so many people are leaving!Property Manager Responded

January 9, 2023The apartment itself is good. The inside is spacious and it comes with a washer and dryer which is very nice. When we moved here we were told they had security. The area is not the best so that was good to know. I had lived here for maybe a month and my car window got broke and things were stolen. We started leaving our cars unlocked so our windows wouldn’t get broken. On average people get into our cars once a week. We were told they were going to get security soon due to the break ins. It has ...been 4 months and nothing has been done. We have called multiple times and there are no updates on them getting security. The other people that live at the apartment are great but it just seems like management doesn’t seem to care about the people that live here.Property Manager Responded

The Audacity of Soundview Properties
November 23, 2022apartment-wise - the units are nice, clean, and freshly updated, and the in unit laundry is great. However, the new management (Soundview Properties) and the way they handle maintenance are a little unreliable, with some of our requests getting taken care of day-of (which is great) and some (like broken appliances) taking months to be replaced. This isn’t to speak ill of the landlord or the maintenance people, who are personable and have done a great job, but of Soundview, who has done an awful ...job since they took over - increasing rent by over $200 as soon as they bought the property. Overall, this isn’t a terrible place to live, and I honestly wouldn’t be leaving a review at all EXCEPT that Soundview Properties bribed all tenants with a tiny, tiny rent discount if we agreed to leave a five star review. I think this is pretty audacious of them, considering they discontinued the paid security car when they took over the properties, which resulted in my husbands car being broken into FOUR TIMES in a single week. To avoid anyone being deceived by paid-for reviews, I decided I would eschew $25 off rent in favor of letting perspective future tenants know the truth about living here.Property Manager Responded
