Safe & affordable in a great location!
February 7, 2023I have zero complaints regarding my time at Villa Hills Apartments. The apartments, laundry room and grounds are well taken care of. Management is very attentive and communicates well. The neighbors in my building were friendly and I never worried about safety or packages being stolen. On a slightly different note- I will mention that the walls and floors are very thin. THIS IS OF COURSE NO ONE'S FAULT (management or tenants), it just is. Living alone I actually feel this gave me a sense of ...security and community. :-) I am very thankful, however, that no babies or small children lived around, below or above my apartment because I would have most definitely heard them. If you are looking to rent in the Duluth area and are fortunate enough to catch an available unit here, don't hesitate. You won't regret it. I would definitely live here again should the need arise.Property Manager Responded

Comfortable and Friendly
November 16, 2020My fiancé and I have been tenants in the Villa Hills apartment complex for almost two years now and we love it here. During the summer they keep the outside looking nice and clean. During the winter they make sure to keep the parking lots free and clear of all snow and ice. The apartments themselves are newly remodeled and are absolutely beautiful with a ton of storage space. They do offer garages for an extra $40 a month, but it is worth it if you want to not have to worry about having your car ...covered in snow or need a place to store your bikes, paddleboards, or kayaks. Up the street, across the street and down across the main roads, there are some amazing trails to explore. Maintenance is top notch. If there is ever anything that needs to be fixed they are on top of it. 10/10 would totally recommendProperty Manager Responded

Great apartment
November 16, 2020I've lived here for about a year and it's great. It's so close to Saint Scholastica that I can walk to school. I'm not going to, but I could. The forest setting is lovely it feels like I live in a treehouse and my cat likes it too. Very rarely has anything needed repair but when they do they are fixed very quickly by the maintenance staff. 10/10 would recommend.Property Manager Responded

Affordable and great location
November 16, 2020We enjoyed our apartment at Villa Hills. The property is located in a quiet setting with access to miles of hiking and mountain biking trails, and just minutes from the conveniences of the city of Duluth. The building and surrounding property are well maintained and updated regularly, and the rates are very reasonable. The staff were always available to answer questions and any issues were dealt with in a timely manner. Affordable and convenient
July 26, 2017My fiance and I moved into the Villa Hills apartments in the beginning of summer and we both love it! It is a nice place to live and the cost is very reasonable. My favorite thing about the apartment is that I have a balcony, which is great for getting some fresh air or enjoying a meal outside. These apartments are within walking distance of both St. Scholastica and UMD, making them ideal for any college student. There is also a grocery store, coffee shop, bank, drug store, and a few fast food ...places right down the street. As far as the management goes, the landlord is very kind and understanding. She does anything she can to help us and answer our questions when we go talk to her. We have had no problems with maintenance. The laundry costs $1.25 to wash and $1.25 to dry, which is a good deal compared to other laundromats in the area. Overall, I would recommend these apartments to any college student or anyone looking for an affordable apartment in Duluth.Property Manager Responded
