I came from Chicago and the communication was open from the beginning until I moved in. Very friendly staff and a beautiful community. Apartment was very clean and ready for me to move in the date that was set for me to move in. I will recommend this community to anyone who is interested in relocating. This place is pure garbage. Never move here. It’s infested with roaches, there’s crime that they don’t even care to let the residents know about such as people’s wheels being stolen, and they only do patch work they never actually fix things. The hot water hardly works. Management is full of crap when you try to move out as well. They’re just money hungry. I wish I could give 0 stars!!

I lived at the Walden Pond Apartments for six years on the second floor. This year my life changed due to a medical condition and I had to move to the first floor Yuliana and her team made the entire process easy and efficient. She guided me through the paperwork and ensured I understood everything thoroughly.
Patience is key when you’re managing medical issues while moving and Yuliana made the experience so much less stressful. I am incredibly grateful for everything they have done for me. I ...
don’t plan on moving anytime soon. I’ve been very comfortable here and plan to stay here unless I win the lottery!!

I’ve just moved in and already I’m finding broken appliances and wall outlets not working. They gave me a sheet to fill out and did no work on it. You get what you pay for. The cameras don’t work and their version of security literally takes pictures of people getting out of the car. Like that’s so weird and makes me very uncomfortable. The neighbors bang on the wall and the kids here throw their balls at my downstairs neighbors place. There is rarely any parking after 11pm. And my carpet peeled ...
up just a few days after moving in when I pushed my front door open. The place is really run down. There is a building under construction and they haven’t finished it apparently for years now. Like I said, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!! Be careful. These are starter apartments not family apartments.

Management is just sales people. Don't get fooled by the pictures. They don't even know if security cameras work. Jacuzzis don't heat. Pool has hole in fiberglass. Lawn service will wake you up at 7am on Saturdays. Cars get vandalized.

parking has gotten worse, sometimes you have to park two buildings down and then walk to your apartment . Then every Apartment complex has lost money due to pandemic and the freeze and I added a roommate and was going to transfer into another apartment. But they want to make the money back by dragging the process to cost you more money. So we decided to cancel and move when my lease is up in August.

No hot water for two weeks because boilers are broken. Nothing is being done.

Living here actually makes me want to die. I have had countless nervous breakdowns because of the poor management here.
I do not have hot water. Several buildings don't have hot water. It's been two weeks, and they've done nothing. They don't care that we don't have hot water. They are LEGALLY required to give us hot water.
But they know that most people here cannot afford legal counsel. They're taking advantage of lower income folks. They're asking us to pay full rent despite lack of hot ...
water for two weeks... and despite the fact that it's still not fixed.
Since this issue has begun, I have had several panic attacks that were so extreme that I couldn't breathe at all and almost fainted. I almost needed to go to the emergency room.
I am trapped in a lease in an apartment complex with management that doesn't care.
The problem, by the way, is Harbor Group Management, who owns the complex. They are a nasty, nasty company. You should avoid renting from any complex owned by them.
But I'm at a breaking point. I can't shower in my own apartment. I'm dealing with the pandemic, health issues, regular life stuff, etc. These people do not care.
Please. If you're looking for an apartment, do not look here. I've never felt so hopeless and trapped.
