Living in the Elaine station community for the last 7 years has been rewarding in that even though tenants has came and gone we were neighbors or we now are neighbors which we look out for one another. For example; Ups packages left on doorsteps we will remove them until they return home if anyone notices strangers tampering with any ones property on the premises we will all rally together and handle the situation.Elaine Station is nice and the architecture is idea! Poor management, horrible crime, but very close to excellent public transportation. Nice countertops. Very quiet units with thick walls. Well insulated.

My wife, son and I moved from Chicago to Portland. So we found our current apartment-unit sight unseen. In the pictures we saw there was a balcony, hardwood floors, open kitchen/dining/living room area, and even has a washer/dryer unit in the apartment. And thankfully its exactly like the pictures but minus the balcony.
