  • Management Awful

    The overall quality of the living space and quality is acceptable. Maintenance is responsive but overall overpriced with no positive return. Management has poor customer service and pick and choose when to address issues. Convenient location to live but unfortunately management was ruling factor on relocating. There is little consideration and care for residents, management is rude and many have moved out within 2022-2023 year. Would not recommend this property.

  • Location is Wonderful; Everything else…. Not So Much

    Lived here for about 2 years now and will be moving once my lease is up. The Gym is never open; they keep the rooftop lounge locked or unfurnished for 70% of the year. I’ve been promised new countertops in the kitchen and bathroom for going on a year now and they are yet to come through on that promise. The location is very nice; but with what they are going to make you pay….. it’s just not worth it.

    This is a good building in a great area. It is very convenient for commuting to downtown, and there is lots to do in the surrounding area. The building staff are professional, and most of them are friendly. The building isn't always sufficiently responsive to e-mails in a timely manner, and one of the items I have complained about that needs to be fixed has not been fixed yet, nearly 3 weeks later. In addition, while I paid my rent on time every single month for a year, when I was on vacation and ...
    paid it 3 days late one time, they charged me $80 of late fee, and would not waive it as a courtesy. At this point, I do not recommend this building to potential new tenants. I will periodically update this review.

    The building is in a great location in Oak Park. Steps from both the Metra and the CTA Green line. There are great events all year long that are just across the street from 100 Forest Place. You will never miss out on what is going on in Oak Park while living at 100 Forest Place.

    This building is a great value for the location, which is only steps from the Harlem Green Line and Oak Park Metra stops. It's also within walking distance of dozens of restaurants and shops, the main branch of the Oak Park library, parks, etc. The maintenance staff deserves special mention--maintenance requests are handled promptly and capably. There is a laundry room on each floor, a rooftop deck and lounge, and a small exercise room. The main negatives are that one or both of the elevators ...

    The Apartments are very well kept and the maintenance staff are always available once you turn in any issue you are having..change of a light bulb to clogged sink.. which everything is maintained so i hardly ever call office for assistance. Area is close to Central area,walking distance to light rail. Security guards petrol all night,.free utility's and cable, you cant beat that. The ladies in the office are very nice and friendly.
