    Stay away! The apartment building is NOT safe. The storage lockers have been broken into and emptied out; bikes have been stolen. And there was a police standoff in the community service agency across the street. In some of these cases, management didn’t notify the residents or even address the issue.     $400 on top of my deposit for normal wear and tear, in violation of California law. This is an unsafe building with an incompetent management team. Spend your rent money elsewhere.

    Not worth the $$$$. CONS (-) Newer building, but cheap materials fall apart fast (-) Poorly designed fixtures (one example: window screens are designed with actual holes defeating the entire purpose) (-) MASSIVE bug problem, pro pest control doesn't even help after months and months (-) Maintenance leaves simple work half done; scheduling is never on time / sometimes no shows (-) Nest thermostats and natural light are nice touches but worth little when the basics are so bad (-) Smart locks ...
    are SUPER annoying (slow to unlock, impossible with groceries or watching kids/pets) and you'll never walk/run around the neighborhood unplugged - you'll be 100% tethered to your phone PROS (+) Friendly property management
