April 22, 2024Management will lie to your face, flat fees for water that are based on people in unit. For 2 people it’s about $127/month. It’s also being rented out as a hotel online for $150/night, half the hotels around us. 0 background checks for any guests.Property Manager Responded

Potential renters “ hotel stayers” beware
April 19, 2024This property has transitioned to "short-term" leasing or operating as a hotel open to the public. Now, residents pay a substantial amount to reside here, and their neighbors can be completely random individuals. This is worrisome due to the safety and financial risks involved, particularly evident in the significant rise in utility bills from just last year. It's troubling to note that these new occupants, primarily here for vacations, coexist alongside working families who call this place home. ...What's even more unsettling is that 10x failed to inform residents of this change, making it feel like amenities are no longer accessible due to constant newcomer parties. Another thing to note, the increased utility costs are directly linked to accommodating these vacationers, a fact not disclosed upfront and blamed it on a discrepancy. Ironically, while residents are restricted from similar activities, the property management allows such activities to happen for their own benefit. For numerous reasons, I wouldn't recommend this property to anyone. Unless you enjoy the atmosphere of a year-round hotel, it's best not to renew your lease here. Look for a property that prioritizes both the building and its community, showing genuine care for its residents. What is being advertised as "Sejur Fort Lauderdale" looks awfully similar to 10x Fort LauderdaleProperty Manager Responded

The prior utility company was unfortunately billing inaccurately and our team will not be trying to retroactively recover that loss. Conservice is now billing correctly, per the lease and local regulations, and this is resulting in a more accurate and realistic monthly amount. Please read - Do not move here (very cold and greedy management)
October 25, 2023Unfortunately I've had a very poor experience living at 10x Fort Lauderdale. My apartment itself was beautiful, but it's not worth the belittlement and stress of living there. I lived there for 1 year and moved out at the end of Sept 2023. Once you sign a lease, they will try to get every dime out of you they can. They are greedy and highly disrespectful if you have any issue. Here are a list of reasons you should NOT move in: 1. They will not disclose all the charges you will incur while living ...there (there will be a charge every 6 mths to change your water filter in the refrigerator, and also to change your air filter, on top of your month rent) 2. They charge you a "refundable" deposit, but in my case I notified them more than 60 days in advance of my leaving at the end of my lease, left the place in good condition (absent some nail holes and scuff marks on the walls, see attached videos of the day I moved out) and moved out a few days shy of my 1 year agreed upon date. 10x sent me a check for $5, out of the $700 refundable deposit and now will not respond to me. I've asked for a list of charges, but have been able to get a response. 3. They have a major roach problem on the 1st floor near the garage entrance. DO NOT move into any units near there. One person that vacated the first apt on the first floor said she counted 300 roaches over a 3 month period. She had to hire her own exterminator, out of pocket, which costs several hundred on top of her already elevated rent cost for a 1 bedroom apartment. 4. The pool is in an awkward spot, which is poor design by the builders. In order to get any sun at the pool, you have to share a small corner of the deck with several others, because the majority of the pool is always shaded. 5. As I mentioned, unfortunately, I was spoken down to (I have email receipts) by office staff, when filling out my application and shortly after move in. I should have heeded that "red flag" and moved, but I had already given them over $1000 in move-in costs, as well as the $2880 first months rent. In summary, it's a very cold, impersonal management company, that invests very little, but expects large returns from the people that live there. Happy tenant for 2 yrs now
January 5, 2022I have been a renant for 2 years and yes, we have had some management changes and new owners and with that comes transition challenges. However, Stephanie and Enrique continue to do their best and that important to me, they make me feel like I am valued and always receive their utmost respect. The location cannot be beat and the units are nice. Any maintenance request are handled immediately and I feel safe here.Review from Apartments.com
Renter Beware
November 12, 2021If you like late night parties in the courtyard that go on until all hours of the morning, the smell of weed throughout the hallways and garage, trash everywhere, dog waste covering the grass, people and/or dogs urinating in the hallways and elevators frequently and people keying your car in the so called securely gated garage then this is the place for you. Otherwise, renters beware. This is not the complex it was when it first opened, when we first moved in. The tenant base has declined ...significantly and a lot have no respect for their surroundings or other people in the building. There is a general lack of common courtesy and civility throughout. Prompt and Professional Maintenance/Repair Service
August 10, 2021Our unit's built-in microwave died. We called the building's leasing management office (Stephanie), and also placed a service order online.
