RAM MANAGEMENT IS TERRIBLE

I have lived at 1105 Town Brookhaven for almost 6 years, and until the most recent management took over, I absolutely loved living here. They decided to begin large-scale "renovations" throughout the entire building, which have now been ongoing for over 6 months and are nowhere near finished. The hallways are covered in patches and unfinished work, and at this point I genuinely feel like I live in a construction zone. I understand wanting to improve the building, but the real issue is the ...
complete lack of communication and respect for the residents who are paying rent to live through all of this disruption. The WORST part has been the exterior painting project, which has dragged on for more than 4 months. Workers began pressure washing my balcony without warning even after management previously told me they would be sending emails to notify residents which balconies were scheduled for construction. Instead, they pressure washed directly on top of my furniture and plants, damaging several of them. And on top of that, I was just getting out of the shower to find a man working on my balcony with a direct view of me.... I asked management again if they could provide any kind of notice so I could move my belongings beforehand, but now they’re claiming they can’t because they "don’t have a set schedule" despite the fact that they are the ones coordinating the contractors. ... Even a rough two-week timeframe would be helpful so I could move everything inside so that it doesn't get damaged. But no. So now my apartment has been taken over by patio furniture, and it could stay this way for months. RAM management has been the worse. On top of that, rates and hidden fees have continued to increase while the quality of living has noticeably declined. I’ve lived through three different management groups during my time here, and this one has been by far the worst experience. It’s really disappointing because I used to genuinely recommend this building. Unfortunately, after this lease, I’ll be leaving.

The pool area has been under maintenance for too long. The golf simulator has never worked. Been here 5 months and it’s still broken, messy, has mostly left handed clubs (why?). If you guys can’t fix the golf simulator, fine. But can you at least email the residents? You email us plenty about us having to move our vehicles for maintenance, you can’t email us an update there? their temp fix is just to open a gate so anyone can get in. There are messes all over the complex, gross sticky dried fluid all over the hallway floors. Like what is that? The key scanners for the doors are very hit or miss. The door I go through everyday works maybe 30% of the time. I think people are breaking the doors to bypass the scanners because they just don’t work. The walls are too thin and the sounds of upstairs neighbors are way too noticeable.

Apartment management was not very good and would take forever to respond if they did. When cutting my lease they used my security deposit to upgrade their carpet claiming I damaged it. Conveniently it cost them my entire security deposit. They then charged me additional fees of utilities after I payed my last months rent that included utilities to steal as much money as they could from me. Would not recommend living in this apartment complex.

This complex is alright. The apartment is pretty expensive for what you get. The hallways are pretty dirty and the doors are banged up, which I assume is from people moving things and crashing it into the doors and walls. The golf simulator has not been fixed since I’ve moved in a month ago. The doors around the complex do not always close correctly, leaving the locks useless. lot of construction around the place but I appreciate the constant updates about it and how the work is fairly quiet and there is good signage. The walls are fairly thin so I hear my next door neighbors often. I will say the maintenance team does good, quick work. The Wi-Fi they offer is fast and I haven’t experienced it going out yet. The fire alarms have gone off twice in a month. The apartment is in a great location, easy access to Costco and surrounding restaurants/stores.

The building location is wonderful, plenty of options for food and groceries.
They also have a lot of fun events in and around the neighborhood.

I have never regretted moving to 1105, because the building is well maintained, conveniently located and I always feel safe here. There isn't a better apartment choice anywhere in Brookhaven.
