Recently Moved In - Serious Maintenance and Safety Issues From Day One

We recently moved into 12 Central Square, and unfortunately our experience so far has been extremely disappointing due to multiple serious maintenance and safety issues discovered almost immediately after move-in. The refrigerator is not cooling properly. Maintenance previously attended and cleaned the compressor, but there has been no meaningful improvement. Some of our groceries have already gone bad, and today we had to move milk and other dairy products into the freezer because we were ...

concerned they would spoil as well. The dishwasher is actively leaking water, does not clean properly, and has broken internal trays and components. We have video documentation of the leakage. One bedroom window is broken and does not appear to seal properly. As a result, we can clearly hear television audio and conversations from the unit above, which is significantly affecting our sleep. We also have video documentation of this issue. There is also a serious safety concern with a wardrobe sliding door. The carpet was removed and hard flooring installed before our move-in, but the bottom guide/rail appears not to have been properly reinstalled. The heavy door now wobbles significantly and appears to be hanging mainly from the top. We have young children at home, so this is particularly concerning. In addition, after recent maintenance work, we are unable to turn off the master bedroom lights, which is also affecting our sleep. We have raised maintenance requests and escalated these concerns to management. What is most frustrating is that we only recently moved in and expected the apartment to have been properly inspected and ready for occupancy. We have videos documenting the dishwasher leak, refrigerator issue, broken window and noise intrusion, and unstable wardrobe door. We hope management takes ownership of these issues and resolves them promptly. I will update this review based on how the situation is handled.

Bad Management and Appartment

Certain things in the apartment were already not well maintained, we were charged more than 1k as part of move out final settlement without just justified reasoning. We got an aggressive call in the end to pay the settlement saying we don't negotiate and you need to pay the settlement.

Livable but would not recommend

I would recommend living elsewhere if you can, even though it is one of the cheaper options near downtown Bellevue. The buildings were built in the mid-eighties and have related issues: the hallway at the garage level flooded multiple times during heavy rains, and no repairs were made to my knowledge. In the first-floor apartment, mold developed very quickly around all windows and some kitchen cabinets (which we only kept pans in, no food). Management is poor: when renewing our lease, we ...

received inconsistent communications on what changes had been made and what our new fees would be (luckily we carefully read all 70+ pages ourselves). Even though we were in good standing and they were asking hundreds of dollars less per month for new renters, the only way we could get a comparable rate was by signing a 16-month lease. There were multiple parking audits conducted in a single year, and our rent charges incorrectly changed mid-lease (was remedied after some communication). A garage door was rekeyed without notice which disabled multiple residents' keys from working, and access was never restored despite multiple requests. Bad experience with leasing agent

We went in and initially our uber dropped us at Park in Bellevue, when we called they said we are at wrong place and dont know where we were, she said if only we can meet her in few minutes she can help as she has some other work!
