Overall this building is pretty decent to live in...for NY! My one bedroom cost $1250.00 per month. There's only loud music on the weekends. The tenants are pretty much respectful to each other. The super does a great job keeping the building clean. It's close to everything you can think of from BJ's to Petco to Chipolte. All kinds of deli's and mom and pop shops. Gas stations, hair salons, massage parlors and laundry mats. There is even a police station just two blocks away. The 1 train is one ...
block away. There isn't a thing you may need that isn't within walking distance. The unfavorable things about the building are the landlord is almost impossible to reach. Several days in the winter are accompanied with no heat and hot water. And of course the rent is way to high for a pre-war building. But for NY...I guess it's OK!
