There are several reasons not to lease this place: 1) The building is dirty and I know tenants have mice and cockroach problems--- The landlord cannot do anything as it is out of control 2) The walls are so thin and you can hear what your next door neighbor says! 3) Imagine thin walls and having pets!! that's totally crazy! Half of the tenants have pets which makes it unbearable to live because of the noise I recommend to find a place closer to the center city or Fairmount st- they may be a ...

The biggest reason why I moved here was because of the parking garage. The garage door has been broken for at least half (if not more) of my time here. That means my car and the entire building is left unsecured from North Philadelphia. The door was just replaced (after a month of it being open) and it isn’t any better. The walls are extremely thin. Now that it’s summer I’m finding more and more bugs. Maintenance wasn’t responsive to my requests when I moved in. Just trust me and sign a lease ...

Avoid this place. I am doing a public service by creating this first review. Wish others would have done this for me. The floors and ceilings are extremely thin and you can hear your upstairs neighbor walk around at all hours. I've lived in other apartment buildings before but the sound creates an echo with cracking sounds and can be unbearably loud at night. As example of how thin they are, you can actually feel warm spots on the floor where your downstair's neighbors ceiling lights are and you ...

can hear your neighbor's conversations! Another sound issue is the sound of dripping water behind the washer/dryer...was told that it's probably the A/C from upstairs dripping, but the sound echoes throughout the entire apartment and is quite annoying at night. This place is very poorly built, there are noticeable creasing lines on the ceiling. The garage door malfunctions (just got replaced this week) and remains open. This defeats the purpose of it being a secure parking garage. Since moving in, I've killed over 5 German cockroaches and I don't even have food sitting around since I just moved in...just a sign that there must be an infestation if the roaches are here on higher floors. Finally, one of the 2 bedrooms in the apartment has zero windows. It is questionable if this is even allowed, as according to the City of Philadelphia Partners for Good Housing" document "Natural light must be made available in every room by one or more windows facing directly to the outdoors." Also, doesn't a bedroom require two modes of egress?
