When I called to complain, the manager swore at me saying I had no right "to keep [him] from renting for as much as he could." When I said the number of visits were excessive his response was "Tough sh*t. This is what life is like as a renter." No it's not. It's only life when you're landlord is a greedy maniac, who drives a Maserati. After we moved out we find the landlord withheld $1300 from the security deposit as a charge for "leasing agents". Meaning he charged $1300 to hire a leasing agent to get the next tenant. This is absurd and illegal and we have hired a lawyer to dispute this amount. Tales of mis-management abound, from non-working appliances to laundry machines that don't work. Residents have an active facebook group where we discuss how badly we are treated, the lack of maintenance and are considering a class action lawsuit. This is a nice building, but in a few it will be destroyed as management cares only about extracting as much as it can from tenants.
