January 26, 2026This building has a lot of issues, like a lot of chicagos old buildings. However the issue is lack of resolution. Things tend to go ignored and present a bigger problem later. The area is extremely noisy as a hospital is located down the street, so this tends to bring a lot of Ambulance sirens and firetruck sounds. Ofcourse the sound travels up and bounces off the walls which obviously makes it louder. I am not exactly disappointed with the building nor community but also not happy about it ...either. September 19, 2025Well, I have been here 5 years now and I would to see the windows washed. They have not been washed since I move in; and the rugs on certain floors are just nasty, big stains, looks like from dog poop. I like the building itself, the location. September 15, 2025I have an issue with the elevators constantly being out as I am disabled and depend on the accessibility. Also other repairs that have not been repaired yet I was promised they would be almost a year ago. This leaves me disappointed and fearful. I feel as though I pay my rent and I do not disrespect anyone nor the property I should get the same in return, however this is not the case. I lose sleep every time it rains as I am nervous of the issues that have not yet been resolved. Also laundry ...facility has been an absolute nightmare as the few washers that do work are either in use consistently or inaccessible to me in a wheelchair. Makes it harder to achieve. April 18, 2025My daughter and I have been here now for 2 yrs. It's definitely a huge change from where we came from. The view from my apartment is beautiful, the area is great, school is only a 10min walk. There are a few downfalls from living here, the elevators are always messed up, they need new washers and dryers.... they're always out of order and half the time your clothes don't even come out clean!! It's a waste of money!! There are roaches and bed bugs and yes they have an exterminator come out but ...when it's a big building like this one, you can never get rid of them no matter how much they "spray".
