Have friends living in this building. Holes in the walls in the front staircase. Place reeks of dope from the moment you walk into the building. Mice, Flies and Rats are all over the property as well as overflowing garbage in the trash cans and other trash strewn in the common areas as well as criminal activity and drug dealing in the back porch area of the building.

  • Don't Waste Your Time

    April 27, 2021
This property is in serious disrepair and the property management is non existent. Work orders sent to them to repair items in the building are never fulfilled. Drug use and criminal activities are a constant here as the police are here often on complaints. Not to mention they cant seem to pay their bills as notices from the city, state and other local authorities regarding past due bills for the property are constantly placed on the entrance to the building, also the infrastructure is slowing ...
    sinking inward.

  • Poorly maintained and managed

    July 22, 2019
This building is infested with bedbugs and mice. The so called property management at this building has changed three times in the time I lived there and does little to upkeep the property and assist the tenants. The tenant turnover in this building is high with a lot of drug use ongoing here. The area itself is not very safe in the night hours. Several shootings have occurred right outside the building and even though a school is right across the street the police presence here is next to ...
    none.

  • Finally, I am home.

    July 27, 2015
Where do I begin? After a tumultuous five or six years being bumped around the country and never quite feeling like anything fit, I finally managed to settle down into a place that feels wonderful - just like home. What can I say about this building? It's cared for and maintained by a company called Schubert Properties, who have been absolutely stellar in making sure that everything went smoothly during the application and processing procedure. They were more than attentive, incredibly ...
friendly, and honestly I was surprised to find that these people seemed to genuinely care about me and listened attentively to my concerns and worries. The leasing agent, Madeline, was so sweet and so kind and even related to a lot of the things I was nervous about at first. The location of the building itself is absolutely beautiful, and it is situated in an area that is completely residential, and it makes you feel very safe. There are so many young families living in this area and in my building, and it's just nice to get to know everyone. Honestly, it gives me a sense of community I have not felt in a long, long time. Probably since I was a child. The building is very well cared for and has a locked lobby that facilitates a buzzer system to let guests in and out, doubling up on the safety aspect, and there are also cameras positioned on the outside of the building near the entrances. It's such a relief to have those precautions - not that we need them really, but as an afterthought just in case, it makes me very happy and puts me at ease. The neighborhood is also gorgeous. Each street has brownstone after well-cared for brownstone, and some families and tenants even plant gardens out front. I've seen some absolutely stunning gardens so far, and I really could not say enough good things about how wonderful it feels to walk down the street and see everything in bloom and happy. Kinda sappy, but I think it raises the quality of living a lot when you see your neighbors actively taking part in neighborhood upkeep. This is a place where people WANT to be outside and sit on their porches and talk to eachother. Everything about this place is wonderful from the accessible public transport to the overall feel of the community. Like I said, after years of searching and worrying and feeling out of place, I finally feel like I am home. This isn't just an apartment to me. This is where I want to live and thrive for a long, long time.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on scale of 1 (below average) and to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider needs as part of the school selection process.
