I’ve really enjoyed living here for almost 4 years. The community feels very safe and peaceful most of the time, except for game days when the area gets a bit busier.
The biggest highlight for me is the leasing office team. They are always friendly, responsive, and genuinely helpful whenever I have questions or need assistance.
The location is also very convenient, with easy access to public transportation and nearby amenities. The gym is well maintained and never feels overcrowded, which is a ...
nice bonus.
The apartments aren’t huge, but they have everything you need and are designed efficiently. I’ve also found my neighbors to be friendly and respectful, which makes the community even more enjoyable.

Generally good, but floor is not sound proof. I can hear people walking heavily from above. At sleeping time, it is ok because above unit also sleep.

People live here respect each other, you barely hear any noises from your neighbors. Leasing office is not as good as the old days - many times no one is in the office during the operation hours.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and for the kind words about our location, maintenance team, and community atmosphere—we truly appreciate it.
We also want to clarify our leasing office availability. Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with a one-hour lunch break, and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. We are closed on Sundays. As we are currently a one-person onsite team, there may be times when the office is unattended during operating hours due to tours, package logging, or walking the property.
If you ever need assistance and we are not physically in the office, you are always welcome to email us at 221bergen@greystar.com, and we will respond as promptly as possible.

We have been in 221 Bergen for almost three years. 100% love the location, very convenient to go to NYC. We get used to the noise from the highway. Not much community activities from the leasing office tho.
