Do not move here. My unit was not ready to be moved into. I experienced my ceiling falling apart, pests, stinky drainage, power outages, power surges, piping and drainage issues, etc. Some residents did not have a foundation set when they moved in and were afraid theyd fall through the floors and were faced with many pests. The walls are full of roaches. Maintenance cannot break any walls due to the infestation of roaches. I now have a phobia of pests due to the uncanny amount Ive seen in this ...

I do not like living here but it is affordable if youre first moving to Chicago on your own. I am currently planning on moving away for TLC when my lease is up due to the pests and lack of cleanliness in the building. If you choose to live in the main building, your experience will be significantly better. The company rakes care of the main building but not its lessor building across the back way.

Lovely apartment for a first time renter. I would recommend it. Lovely kitchen & closet is spacious. I was comfortable soon as moved in. Management & Maintenance are very nice people. They get down to business ASAP. I love their energy and they are very appreciated. I love the neighborhood its nice calm & collective.

My experience has been poor. Within the first 2 weeks of me living here my ceiling has fallen to the ground. Early 2020, there was a roach infestation that management did not take seriously. Plumbing issues happen frequently at this place. If youre desperate for a place to stay, its cheap here, but youre getting what you paid for.

The best thing about 2 Sisters is the great service provided by maintenance and the property manager. Maintenance always responds in a timely manner and he is always very nice and courteous. Additionally, he listens, he keeps his word, and he lets me know how and when the issue will be resolved.
Lastly, the property manger is very responsive, fair minded, easy to talk to and does an excellent job with addressing any issues that I might have.
