Needs improvements

My apartment is ok. But the landlord hasn't fixed the intercom in over a year. There is no firescape in case of emergency. He doesn't change the carpet or flooring every couple of years. I've been here 7 years and he hasn't changed any of his own accord. Everyone makes their own upgrades. The only good thing about this building is that it's fairly young at 9 years old. Also there are only 8 units so it's not crowded . Overall it's acceptable but nothing to write home about.
