Lovely Place, great location but seemingly ALWAYS under construction
June 28, 2017The good: The floor to ceiling front window allows wonderful natural light and the location is absolutely perfect. An easy walk to Harvard, Central and Inman squares and close proximity to shops and restaurants on Mass Ave. The Charles River is a 5 minute walk as well. Maintenance is very responsive and the apartment came in brand new condition with stainless appliances, which was a nice touch. The bad: The 1BR apartments are a bit small for two folks and the bathroom in the bedroom is ...a tad inconvenient. Worst of all, we've been here for two years and the building has been under seemingly constant construction. While this is understandable as a means to keep a building up to date, there is very little discretion by the crews for tenants who are living in the building. Even though they promise to start work later, they begin work directly above bedrooms at 7am. Incredibly, the management team has scheduled a full remodel in the same apartment, directly above ours, two years in a row. The roofers in 2016 dropped materials on one of our cars and tried to blame landscapers. While it's nice that they keep the building in good condition, the unfortunate lack of regard for existing tenants sleep schedules and properties is atrocious.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Too close to Dominos Pizza
July 21, 2015The building is close to everything- T stops (Harvard and Central), a couple markets, the library and a park BUT Dominos and their $7.99 pizza is so close you can smell it.... I mean, how do they make any money on that delicious $8 pie?! Needless to say, whenever we get the late night munchies, or a little lazy about dinner... Dominos comes to the rescue! I'm hoping they put in a Weight Watchers on the block too.Review from Apartments.com
