Here are the positives: amazing views or harbor or stadium. The front desk and maintenance staff are professionals who go above and beyond to make living here a wonderfully pleasant experience. There are huge downsides to living here as well that on a rather small but significant part the building is responsible for. This area is NOT safe. 2023, my neighbor was held up at gunpoint inside our garage and they stole his phone wallet and his new Lamborghini. While driving that car in Baltimore made him a target, no one deserves to be robbed at gunpoint. This is where the building’s share of responsibility comes in: they have made our garage open and free accessible to the public. The apartments that share a level with the garage are a mere 1 tap of a fob away from people from the outside world. Those people with ill intent can just wait for one of the residents to let them in and next thing you know there is a person with a gun outside your apartment. Regardless of responsibility, living in DT Baltimore is less safe than it was a few years ago. We will be considering canton or Towson as safer alternatives and you should too.
