Not well maintained and moldy

The property is extremely dated, extremely noisy, and completely neglected. Don't be fooled by the turn of the century air conditioning units in the windows. They don't work, well most don't. They won't tell you this and when summer hits and you call "sorry we don't cover that". Don't ask them to clean it out or patch the wall up correctly though. The mold house, aka ac unit is the best you'll get. They literally exist to fill the hole in the wall and house mold. If you can keep a secret this is ...
the place for you too, because you'll hear everyone's business. You'll also hear everyone's parties, bad kids, and smell a multitude of odors all at once. The washer and dryer, much like the ac units, don't work and never did. The landlord is NOT the owner but will talk to you like she is. Actually, she'll talk to you like you're eight. It's neat. Dumb yourself down and you'll be fine. Don't expect them to clean the hallway. They send Napoleon Dynamite's Grandma to do that once every three months or if there's a vacancy, and if there are packages delivered that day she'll kick em and refuse to vacuum. Don't get me wrong, it's good times here if you're ok with laughing at your own life and wondering how you wound up there. It's the equivalent of staying in a dingy motel that nobody cares about.
