Worst month living here
October 19, 2022I’ve been here for a month, and it is the worst living situation. It’s been terrible from the moment I moved in to construction material and food cans and wrappers in the apartment even though you pay an admin fee of about $450 for it to be cleaned and other things. The apartment is still having work done to it, it wasn’t up to code when I moved in, maintenance is coming in to do that work often, my apartment flooded two weeks in because the washer above me wasn’t installed correctly, the fridge ...does not work, laundry room is not set up, my apartment was entered without notice given to me, maintenance never tells you they when they will or have entered your apartment, at most that it is in a 48 period of time, the washer/dryer keeps having issues and does not work well, the laundry room is not set up, the thermostat and heat don’t work correctly, the windows let in a ton of cold air, the walls are paper thin and I can hear the person above my floor literally peeing, opening cabinets, everything. This building and the building next door have non stop parties all weekend. The building and police have done nothing about it.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
RUN!
April 10, 2022Run from this place. I’m not sure if other units are updated, but my unit on the 5th floor is outdated. I didn’t even use the kitchen cabinets bc they’re disgusting inside. The shower has a nasty stain as well. Floors are old and need to be updated. Toliet makes sound 24/7. The fridge also makes sound at night (loud, unexpected sounds). When asked to fix the issues with the floors, shower, and kitchen cabinets, the service was horrible and nothing was ever fixed! Lastly, I’ve seen cockroaches in ...the lobby during the summer SEVERAL times. Good location because it’s Lincoln park, but for the price you pay, you are better off looking else where! I cannot wait for my lease to end soon. Huge waste of money and overall cleanliness of this unit is horrible. Do not move here, I cannot stress this enoughRead MoreReview from Apartments.com
Good Deal in LIncoln Park
July 22, 2015This is probably one of the best deals in the Lincoln Park neighborhood. I looked at a lot of studio's in the neighborhood and this one was by far the biggest I saw at this price point. I have a queen bed a nightstand, a table, a desk a couch, a coffee table, a TV stand and a dresser in the unit. It is a little tight but totally liveable. I liked that the kitchen in my unit is separate from the living area and that there are 4 closets. There were minor maintenance requests that I gave up on ...because nothing was coming of asking. The building was sold during my residency. The new management company has made some aesthetic changes to the exterior of the building and they just installed new heaters. These heaters are electric so I imagine it will affect heating bills next winter. It can get noisy, I hear my neighbor's phone ring and sometimes hear them talk. Also there will often be loud music playing in the building until 1 or 2 am on Thursday night or the weekend. If you are looking for an affordable place in Lincoln Park this is a good option.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
