That’s why it’s New...
February 16, 2020They broke all of our leases - evicted us on April 2019 to upgrade and remodel the building. Last April 2019, they announced To all of us 111 units/tenants with familys/couples/everyone: all 111 units— we had 60 days to evacuate. Their reason - 1.) it was in our contracts they can evict us due to remodeling concerns. 2.) as long as it was a 60 day notice they can break our lease. 3.) we should’ve known- as out building manager and his family quietly moved our before any of us. We all were like ...where is “Joshua?” 4.) Everyone had a 12 month lease contract - they were moving newcomers in March 2019. Awful greedy management, we all panicked to find a new place before June 2019. And it was hard because most of us had pets- dogs. They consultation? “First priority back to Leahy, or we can relocate you to another corporate apartment community we own.” Stay away from AIMCO. The carport downstairs was always flooded with plumbing issues. The gates would malfunction so we would always have to hold out on exiting or entering. Management steals your packages and opens you mail. All they care for is getting your monthly rent and nothing else. Disappointing, with this experience I found that management is key to a good home.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Do not rent here
March 10, 2019There is never anyone on staff, amenities are out nearly constantly and some have never worked (like the fireplace by the pool). The interiors of the apartments are falling apart and need constant replacement, which is difficult with only one maintenance person on staff. Hallways are never cleaned and rarely maintained. You get to overlook people in the Days Inn next door relieving themselves in the parking lot and working on their vehicles at early hours of the morning. Despite this lack of ...service at the apartment, management decided to raise everyones rent. Good luck talking to anyone about it either. If you call the number, you will be routed to someone in Denver who will tell you that's what market rate is. I wish I had someone to talk to at the front desk about these problems, but there is never anyone there, even during the times they are supposed to be. This leasing company sucks!Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

Horrible
November 13, 2018I don’t even know where to start honestly. I’m just going to list everything that was terrible about living here in no particular order: Constant elevator issues. The shower is either freezing cold or scolding hot for no reason. Multiple times the water had to be shut off. Loud construction during the day for weeks. Horrible street parking that fills up fast. Paper thin walls. Lack of staff/maintenance. Our refrigerator broke at one point during our stay and it was days before they even came to ...take a look. Almost nonexistent office hours. I’m sure there’s more but in my blind rage I cannot even remember right now. The cherry on top of all of this is that we are being charged a termination fee for moving out two days before the exact end date of our lease, even though we already paid our rent for those days. I’ve never felt so compelled to have my voice heard due to a negative experience, but I would never recommend these apartments to anyone.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Very Poor Experience
May 26, 2017This is my first time writing a review for an apartment. I feel compelled to warn people about Leahy because there are many negatives. I'll just list them: 1. Shower water alternates from extreme cold to extreme hot every day. 2. Garage is dirty. They never cleaned the garage floor during our entire 15 month stay. 3. The indoor hallways between units experienced a lot of water damage this past year, and they never dealt with it properly. Water was running down the walls. Carpets at outdoor ...doorways were saturated, and they never dehumidified the facilities. 4. The elevator near our unit was out of order for about 5 months out of our 15 month stay. 5. Apartment office hours of operation were terrible, and they constantly seemed understaffed (I feel sorry for the people who work there). 6. Our requests for a water temperature fix was met with excuses, and ultimately was never addressed. 7. After our very poor experience, which we expressed to the office staff politely and reasonably, our lease renewal included an almost $200 increase in rent. We declined, and now live in a much better apartment and pay $200 less than our Leahy 15 month lease monthly rent. Leahy has been, by far, the worst apartment I've ever lived in.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Leahy Apartments Review
October 12, 2015Overall, the apartment complex gets 4 stars. Some of the pros include: good location, nice amenities (washer and dryer in unit, pool, gym, parking, pet friendly), good custodial work. Some of the cons include: high end of price range, management office hours (they close before I get home from work everyday), old appliances, lack of A/C, old apartments.Review from Apartments.com
Nice buildings so-so service
September 23, 2015The building and apartments are pretty nice. They are dog-friendly, smoke-free and have good natural light. The apartments have older appliances and very few overhead lights and fans (no air conditioning). The workout room is nice and so is the pool/grill area. What could be better is the service. The serivce worker Edy is very responsive and great. The desk people, however, not very dependable. Their packaging system is pen and paper, and so is their system for taking care of needs- they ...write reminders on post-its. Also, the office is supposed to close at 6pm but I often rush home to get there at 5:30 to find it already locked. We like living here but there are definite improvements that could make 707Leahy top-notch.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
