Enjoyed the property but left due to strict property management.

Pros:
(1) the staff including community managers and maintenance
(2) the events and offerings the property hosted, such as food trucks and opportunities for a rent credit like the egg hunt and door decorating contest
(3) the opportunity to rent out an apartment space for a few nights for friends and family that was only available to the community.
Cons:
(1) There wasn't any opportunity to negotiate. I wanted to switch to another unit on property that would have been better for my and my dog's ...
safety. However, I was unable to apply because I was $65 off from the monthly salary requirement. I reached out to the community manager and she notified me the following:
Unfortunately, rent is based off the market at that time. Not based off of any personal reasons or the status of the current resident/future resident.
It resulted in my leave of the property. I will say that the community manager offered to reach out to property management. But she ended up not reaching out because someone applied sometime later with that market value rate.
(2) I notified the community manager about a month into first moving into the property that the community dog bath does not have running hot water. She said she would notify me once they added it. I was unable to give my dog a bath in that designated spot for the time being, because it was way too cold for my dog. I waited for the hot water to be added, but it never came or I was never notified.
