July 18, 2024I recently moved out of this apartment and had problems with cockroaches starting in the summer. I also know other tennants have had issues with mice, which I likely only didn’t see because of my cats. They do spray which seemed to help with the roaches for a bit but there is clearly a larger problem in the building that isn’t being properly handled. In addition, the laundry machines are often out or steal quarters and when I first moved in they told me renting an ac unit from them would be ...$50. After I signed the lease and mentioned I’d just get my own suddenly it wasn’t a rental fee but an electricity surcharge. Finally, when I moved out, they decided it was appropriate to let themselves into my unit to start preparing it for the next person when I had paid rent through the end of the month and had two weeks left and had not returned my keys. They were using my vacuum and cleaning supplies to clean and had thrown away at least one of my items that was still there that I’d noticed. Worst Experience! Stay Away
March 27, 2024When I moved in the place smelled and was filthy. Toilet didn't work, light fixtures broken, closet door fell off. Floor all cracked. I work nights and now they have people with buzz saws etc at 8am waking me up. The carpeting in the hall is disgusting and filthy. 2970 N Sheridan Road is the same price but so much better value. August 4, 2015Great place but make sure you have a good plunger. The plumbing is old so clogs suuuuuuper easy. I love my place! It's perfect for what I need though I do wish that someone on my floor would quit making the hallway smell like weedReview from Apartments.com
