August 22, 2015The Crow River Apartment complex is a horrible place to have to live. There are no ceiling lights in the apartments except for in the kitchen and bathroom. They have undersized window A/C units that cant cool the entire apartment. The heat does not work properly due to the fact that the baseboard heaters are worn out, work when they want, and are impossible to regulate. The rental company cares so little for its renters that 9 months after moving in, they had their maintenance man replace one of ...the two missing smoke detectors with one 11 years old when the manufacturer says to replace them after 10 years. The most egregious problem here is that all of the units have Federal Pacific electrical panels in them which are known for failure and starting FIRES! I wish I would have never moved in here due to the lack of care by Summit Properties/Marathon Management and the fact that the apartments shake when the train goes by, since we are so close to the tracks.Property Manager Responded

We are a responsible management company that strives to keep our residents happy. We have replaced all of the electrical panels and make sure your detectors and all other safety equipment is up to date.
