Finally have a home

I moved here in March, and I must say, this is by far the best apartment complex I have had the pleasure of living in.
First of all, management is incredible. I mentioned that my drain plug wasn’t keeping water in the tub, and they put in a maintenance request on my behalf. It was fixed almost immediately. They’re also just all around really friendly. They’re always waving from the office when they see me and making pleasant conversations in the elevators. It’s all around a night and day ...
difference from things I’ve heard about management in New Orleans.
Security is also very friendly. My puppy is always checking behind the desk to see if his best bud is there to give him pets. I was also outside with a friend, and someone was bothering us. Within seconds, security was outside and got the guy away. They’ve always made me feel incredibly safe, which is very important to me as a single woman.
One thing I’ve heard people mention is the tourists, as the complex rents out airbnbs. I personally have no issue with it. The tourists are always warm, friendly, and respectful of the people living there. They’re also transitioning to more long term residencies from what I’ve heard.
The complex is always clean and quiet (aside from the inevitable noise pollution from outside that just comes with living downtown). I have really appreciated coming home and feeling like I can truly rest. I look forward to seeing all the lovely employees and tenants when I get off of work.
The location is amazing. I have no issues finding things to do or walking there. It’s right next to canal and is only about a seven minute walk to Poydras. I was actually able to get rid of my car. The location is so convenient, I had no use for it anymore. That said, the amenities and overall peacefulness of the complex has me very rarely wanting to leave, haha.
All in all, I love this place. There’s a reason many of the tenants have been here for so long. I always recommend it to people looking for a new place. It is the first time an apartment has truly felt like a home to me.
