Not sure if it’s due to new management, but they look out for residents. Trash pickup every Tuesday morning. They viably explain to you when there’s a problem instead of hiding information. Maintenance is quick. Staff is extremely assistive. Pest Control every week. This complex has definitely set the tone for future apartments if I choose to leave.

These apartments are great, this is my first time living by myself and I couldn’t have chose a better place to start a new chapter in life. The bedrooms are a good size, and the bathrooms are excellent sizes. Can’t wait to build my life here. It’s really quit and there’s not much traffic through out the apartment complex. Everyone is super friendly in the office, and the manager is really great!

Alexis Park is a quiet, secure neighborhood that's in a perfect location for downtown Shreveport/ Bossier work and entertainment. It's roughly 10-15 minutes from downtown, less than 5 minutes from Airline Drive, and about 20 from Youree Drive.
Alexis Park has around the clock police security on site, a 24- hour laundry center, and a spot-on maintenance crew. Noise is at a minimum, thanks to a property wide fine for overly loud music.

the front of the complex, which is a bit of a walk for further units, and there are speed bumps everywhere, so it's a slow drive to the one entrance and exit to the complex.
The area around Alexis Park seems "rough" at first sight, but it's mainly older people on the main street, and in the year we've been at this address there has only been one instance where the police were involved with a speeding incident. Barksdale Air Force Base is less than 5 minutes away, and the noise of airplanes is not uncommon, but not unbearable either. The real trouble may be the trains, which are both loud and intrusive.
The maintenance crew is very prompt and efficient, responding to work orders within a day. The lawn is patrolled for loose trash every morning, and a landscaping crew comes in every week. The dumpsters are emptied once to twice a week. Smoke detectors and air filters are routinely checked and or changed, and pest control sprays around the door and windows inside your unit (you can request other rooms sprayed as desired) monthly. The only trouble we've had is trying to get our hands on a washer-dryer for our unit, which seem to be in short supply.
Prices are comparable to other apartments of the same style, and the units are very comfortable. The 2BR/2BA we have seems a touch backwards, with the master bathroom only having a shower, and the guest bath having a shower-tub. The master bathroom does however have a very nice closet setup with two sliding mirror-doors. The kitchen is very nice for a couple or small family, pantry and fridge space is quite adequate. The fireplace is a nice bonus for this unit, however its placement makes it slightly inefficient for practical heating use.
Overall we are very happy with the complex and our unit, and have referred many friends to Alexis Park. We have no complaints about neighbors, staff, or otherwise, and any issues are handled promptly. It's a very pleasant place to live, and we can't wait to have you as our new neighbors!

The one bedroom apartments here are pretty big and has great cooler/heating factors. You get your choice between a regular studio/one and two bedroom or you can get something with its own FIREPLACE. There's a nice pool and small play area for the kids. Also we are right next to a middle school so kids can walk to and from easily.
