The building offers great amenities and thoughtfully designed shared spaces. Do NOT rent here
June 3, 2025Do NOT rent here. I never leave reviews, but I am doing this to warn other people who are interested in this complex. When I was looking to rent here, I already had seen that reviews went down DRAMATICALLY when management switched over, but I was hopeful that it wasn’t that bad. Unfortunately, it was worse. After viewing the apartment, I was encouraged to submit an application before leaving the complex because “someone else would probably get it if I didn’t”. I gave them $500 for the admin ...fee and submitted an application. After asking several times about my application status, only TWO DAYS before my move in date I was told that my application didn’t meet requirements (for a self-employed individual, they were looking for $72,000 to be SITTING in my bank account). Since I had NEVER been asked for this before and was getting zero answers as to what they were looking for, I had already bought furniture, hired movers, etc. by this time. Not being able to meet the requirements, my app was denied and I was told I would be sent a check with my $500. It has been nearly TWO MONTHS. I have called SEVERAL times. When Brian (the property manager), DOES answer, he quickly gets me off the phone by saying “he’ll get back to me”. Of course, he never does. I will be submitting them to the Better Business Bureau and telling anyone who is looking to move here, as well as agents looking to move people in here, to look elsewhere.Property Manager Responded

New Greystar Management is Terrible!
September 5, 2024Don't be fooled by the great rating, these aren't written by recent residents. Lived here for 4 years, liked it so much I moved from a studio to 1-bed to stay in the building. However, building was sold to new management 1 year ago and we have been counting the days to get out. Make sure you change to "new" reviews and you'll see I'm not alone. Reason its still an overall 4.2 stars was how great it use to be, the trend will continue and they will soon be at their proper 1 star rating. Just to ...give you an idea, I submitted a maintenance request the first week we moved into a new unit a year ago, the request was because of a leaking and damaged tub that needed patching. Reminded them several times. I will now move out of the unit a full year later with this never once being addressed or even inspect. I submitted multiple windows of time they could come and fix it and they never even responded. Absolutely the worst management.Property Manager Responded

It is one of the best located apartment communities in the Bucktown area - a two-minute walk to the Blue Line, within four blocks of two good grocery stores, conveniently located medical services, a bike ride to the best gym in Chicago, close to the 606 Bike Trail, and a short walk to many bars and restaurants. better options in the area
March 19, 2024For only being a couple years old, this building is a mess. The elevators are out almost every weekend and expect broken dishwashers. The construction of the building is very poor, you can hear everything your neighbors above and below are doing. This building was built the cheapest way possible and the units are priced too high. There are plenty of options in the area so not sure why anyone would pick this one.Property Manager Responded
