Terrible customer service - poor management

I wanted to give management every opportunity to resolve this before posting a review, but unfortunately that didn’t happen.
During my leasing process, I was told one thing regarding a referral incentive, only to learn weeks later that the amount had been reduced before I signed my lease. Rather than honoring what was communicated to me or meaningfully addressing my concern, I received the same canned response through multiple people over several months despite being told the matter had been ...
escalated.
This experience, combined with an unwillingness to exercise reasonable discretion on fees, has left me disappointed with the level of transparency and customer service. Mistakes happen, but how a property handles those mistakes matters just as much. Unfortunately, that was the most frustrating part of this experience.
I even discussed the situation with my sister, who has worked in property management for seven years and started her career with AMLI. She was surprised by how my concerns were handled and felt there were several opportunities for better communication and customer service throughout the process.
If you’re looking for a community where resident concerns are acknowledged and communication is a priority, that wasn’t my experience. Having to repeatedly follow up for answers and receiving the same response each time was incredibly frustrating. Based on my experience, I wouldn’t recommend this property.
