The grounds of this complex are enticing and initially you are met with loads of charm by the leasing office. However, upon moving in to a unit we had not been able to tour first we found it was extremely dirty, not well maintained, very dark, and the pest situation was constant. Additionally, the carpeting was worn and the water heater gave off a putrid smell, occasionally dumping loads of black sediment into the bath/shower/sinks. become hostile, as if it was our fault, and no repair visits occurred, just advice on how to be "better tenants".
In addition, the gate was often left open for days at a time and the cops were on the property doing long investigations several times but we never received safety alerts or updates. That said, the turnover is pretty high. At renewal time the rent went up roughly 15% from the previous year and the cleaning fees charged at move out were double the deposit, including charges for preexisting damage.
