An expensive headache

I've lived in many different apartments and this one is the most expensive, but has given me the most problems. It's like every month it's something new, and getting management to actually fix things correctly is often a fight, even when the problems are related to health hazards like mold and mice. I will not be resigning my lease here.

To start things off, the maintenance closet flooded and all they did was give us a bucket so now there is water damage in the maintenance closet and protruding through the wall that is in the living room. Next in the second bedroom water has been coming through the window and any time they come to 'fix' it all they do is paint over it and wait for it to appear again. I have also had plenty of issues with the fire alarm going off and despite how many times the battery has been replaced they still ...
tend to go off in 3 beep intervals. Also, the internet modem has been replaced 8 times since we moved here 1 year ago. Also light bulbs have gone out quite a few times (they seems to last a couple months before going out again).Also, The paint chips easily on the interior doors. To top it off, all of the HVAC appears very dusty so who knows how often they maintain their HVAC systems.

Renting at this apartment has been a great experience. Maintenance is very fast and willing to help. This complex is great and so are all the amenities. Abberly Crest! What can I say?!! Simply put, they were/are the best! I cannot even thing of a problem that i had. Or a problem that they did not solve! Great people, great personalities, great grounds and pool.
Amy is dope! Helped me at every turn and she is a BIG Steelers fan like me!! We got along great!
The only noise you will hear are the occasional jets from the Patuxent Base not far away. Other than that, it is quiet all the time.
Casey is good to go and right by the door. Toni is ready ...
and able to get anything squared away for you. Lastly, Jessica is in the mix as well with insight and number crunching.

Abberly Crest is the most refreshing place to live. You couldn't ask for anything better. The people are wonderful here and living conditions are the best. I would highly recommend living here. The new addition to Abberly Crest was a smart building plan to bring the city life to the country life. This is the only apartment complex to offer an elevator in this area. I love the pet - friendly environment and you only have to pay a one time fee your dog/ dogs which save you money because you don't have a monthly pet fee each month. I chose this apartment complex because I'm only about 2 minutes from my job on base. The leasing office is always helpful and gives us notices when something is being repaired in the building or outside to keep the community and pets safe. I'm glad I moved here this is the best apartment complex in the Southern Maryland area.

The employees are super friendly and very helpful. The staff made my move easy!. They were very patient and knowledgeable about all the amenities and explained all the details. The apartment complex is just minutes from the Naval Air Station where I work, so it's easy to run home and relax for a quick lunch. The apartments are so spacious and well appointed. I even have a fireplace to hang my Christmas stockings. I have vaulted ceilings and crown molding and a large soaking tub in the master ...

Abberly Crest is a convenient, nice and quiet place to live. If you are working on base it is close enough to have a very short drive to work and not so close that you feel you live at work. Everything is a rather short drive away without being on a main thoroughfare. The surrounding area is quiet and wooded with a park very near by. The apartment complex itself is very well kept with numerous amenities and the apartments are quite spacious. Rent is competitive for the area.

The units are beautiful, some of the nicer apartments in the area for sure! There was NO deposit so that was definitely a plus! It's close to the base, which was something we were looking for. It's also close to basically everything in town!
I can't say enough good things about the staff! Our first impression was Natasha. She showed my husband I and me around and was very pleasant and informative! To this day, she greets us with a smile along with remembering our names! It's the little things ...
that make such a big difference!
We've had to have the maintenance staff come in for a couple minor things. They were here same day and the problems were resolved quickly! They, too are always friendly and professional!
The only downside of living here is we have had to deal with a lot of construction! (its, for the most part, completed now so it shouldn't be an issue!)
The staff does a great job in informing us when things will be blocked off for construction. They use newsletters, flyers and emails. It's impossible to not be informed!
The landscaping is beautiful! There are two great pool and gym areas! The clubhouses are nice as well. The newest clubhouse has a pool table!
We've been very happy here. We even signed a new lease! We would recommend these apartments to anyone!

Abberly Crest is a great apartment to live in. Being newly weds we weren't sure where we wanted to start our new lives together. This place is perfect. It's nestled back on a quiet street but in just 2 minutes you are in the best shopping around. They do a great job at keeping everything clean and up to date. Living on the top floor, the elevator comes in handy as well. This was a great choice for us! We really love it.
