October 11, 2021There are plenty of places to rent. The renovated apartments aren’t really renovated. The parking is horrible. Horrible Place To Live
September 22, 2020This is a horrible apartment complex. The place is run down. My apartment has foundation issues. Large cracks in the walls throughout the apartment. Closet door will not open. Maintenance man that look at my repair ticket in summer 2019 said he told the office to not rent this apartment but they did anyway. Their solution was to run soaker hose around the building so the foundation does not sink any further. My lease was up in April 2020, due to the pandemic renewed my lease. This summer, 2020, ...the foundation is even worse, cracks are larger, my apartment is a dump! Recent ownership changes has led to a lot of billing issues. Be prepared to deal with inconveniences. Worst place to live!
November 30, 2017When I first moved into the residence the place was well kept and the residents were nice respective people who picked up after their animals and kept quiet after 8pm. This place has gone to the pits. Parking is a joke, they nickel and dime you for every thing they can, residents are loud and never pick uup after their pets, the trash dumpster is always overflowing and an absolute eye sore . The office staff is incompetent and communication to the residents is non existent. This is the worst ...management company I have ever delt with in my 10 years of renting. March 9, 2016My family and I love everything about The Abbey: the office staff, the apartment layout, the grounds. We always had ample warning when the fire department would be doing inspections or when there was going to be work done on our building. There were very few times that we needed a maintenance person, but they were always prompt. The property is clean and very well taken care of. My only complaint would be that the dumpster situation is messy, but that is mainly because the city doesn't pick up ...trash but once a week. However, with the valet trash service 4 days a week, it's not so big of a deal - and I have never seen any kind of vermin whatsoever in the year that we've been here. The Abbey at Vista Ridge
October 4, 2015Due to a fire, we moved into an apartment. We haven't lived in an apartment since 1969. After much searching, we decided on The Abbey Vista Ridge. So far it has been a very pleasant experience. If you need maintenance or anything else, just call the office. The complex is very well maintained. Power Washing was done this week. They are in the process of repaintig the office area which includes the clubhouse. In the office area there are computer work stations which have been a blessing to ...me since I lost all my electronics in the fire. There is a large pool with covered sitting areas. A Fitness Center is available as well as garages and covered parking. Most of all, I like the Limited Access Gates with remote entry. I think we will be happy here the rest of our lives. Downhill
September 23, 2015This apartment was great when we first moved in in February. Move in maintenance issues were taken care of quickly, neighbors were quiet and everything worked. Then, new management... Unfortunately, since about May we have had NON-STOP issues with our AC. The maintenance crew that worked here when we first moved in is no longer here, and we no longer have any semblance of service. The group will patch something on the AC, maybe top off the frion, but never try to fix the actual problem. ...Finally, in early September, the AC completely died. I took time from work to stay home and hound the management, because nothing else seemed to make the maintenance guys give a rats ***. They spent more time being condescending about "well, you are on the third floor and face West." I repeatedly had to tell them that was a load of bull, since the AC had been working just fine during the warmer parts of summer. Even after that, nothing happened until I threatened to break lease. That's all they care about. Management finally called in an HVAC company that they use. The AC was finally fixed...for 2 weeks. Now, I have spent all day trying to get a hold of someone about the issue. I put in a maintenance request through their site last night, have tried calling 12 times, emailed the property manager and put in an emergency work order. Still nothing. The only good thing about this apartment is how quiet the community is. Everything else shows how little the management cares about taking care of their residents. Ive been a resident for 3 months and its been great and they added a dog park! Great location, close to everything and the highways. Its quiet and neighbors are usually families and nice people.
