My husband and I live at Alcove at Seahurst with our 1 year old daughter. On June 20 2026 I was vacuuming, and our electricity went out. I called, they sent maintenance out. Maintenance said they could not fix it as it was a wire problem and not a breaker or outlet issue. So they said they would send a contractor out. They sent one out a few days after. He sent them his bid, they said it was too high and they would send out another electrician. So we decided to hook up extension cords, just so we ...
can be comfortable in our own home. It took them 1 month and a dozen ugly emails later to send one out. That was about 3 weeks ago. And he hasn’t been back since. Last night, I was vacuuming, again, and the rest of the electricity went out in the apartment. So we dragged out more extension cords so we can at least use the outlets. None of our overhead lights are working. This is the most unprofessional issue I’ve ever dealt with. They should be embarrassed for not taking care of their residents the way they should. We have our own electrician coming out today to fix this issue that they should have fixed.
