      Alister has a lot of pros and a lot of cons. The pros are the location, living room size, EV charging, the amenities offered (rooftop, pool, Amazon locker, in unit laundry and gym). The cons are the non working elevator (I’ve been here for 3 years roughly and it’s always broken this is the longest stint of it not working), the laundry project and lack of compliance with the city, small closets that are smaller due to the laundry project, small balconies, broken gates and or fob system (which ...
      means the building is less secure at times). All in all if Alister keeps rent the same or lower I would renew but any increase would require me and my husband to look elsewhere.

      Despite some challenges with the washer and dryers as well as with the elevators, I have been enjoying living at Alister. DJ is super helpful and Donnie and Lloyd in maintenance are very responsive with any issues. If anything does happen it’s always resolved. I know that no place is perfect but for apartment living in LA this has been a pretty positive experience.

      Our experience with Alister was very pleasant. We found their listing on Apartments.com. I would say the photos reflect accurately to the units we toured. Marissa was amazing at answering all our questions and helping us throughout the leasing process. Very happy with everything. Was very easy!
