Great maintenance
May 6, 2022The regular maintenance team always goes above and beyond. The keep the grounds clean and the one that lives there even walks the property at night as a deterrent to theft. They are the best part of this complex. However my car was stolen by someone that lived there. Management refused to install cameras, fired the security team and didn't replace them. It is not a safe place between 10pm -6am cars are broken into and stolen nightly. The pool is constantly closed during the summer. Beware, this place is a money grab!
August 18, 2017When our family of 4 moved into the apartment it was infested with fleas, the walls and doors all had obvious damage/dents that were hardly repaired and the floor had stains on it. The damage was addressed during the paperwork. Their answer for everything was "we understand the doors, walls and floors aren't perfect". A week after moving in without our dog, we had a flea infestation. When you walk across a room, your legs would have several fleas on them. Their answer to this was that it was ...our dogs fault. We reminded them that our dog wouldn't be arriving for another month and that they were welcome to check the apartment to see if she was there. They said then that they would get the carpets cleaned for us, but we'd have to bring them fleas from the apartment and that we'd have to move all of our stuff off of the floors. So basically after moving all of our stuff into the apartment, we'd have to move it all back out, then back after a few days. Did I mention that we wouldn't be able to stay at the apartment while this took place, we'd be responsible for cleaning up their chemical spray and that the apartment was on the 3rd floor. They also informed us that our other options were to handle the fleas ourselves or move out and pay the 2 months rent penalty and lose our non refundable deposits. Another apartment with them was out of the question. We went through their hoops, got things taken care of the way they wanted. The following 10 months were almost monthly service calls. A few of them were the washer and dryer no longer working, the dishwasher breaking and being repaired with superglue, only to leak non stop and eventually no longer actually wash the dishes, the carpet come apart and all the drains back up. When we moved out we were informed that we would be losing our entire Security Deposit. The reasoning was the walls needed to be repainted and the carpet would need to be replaced. The same carpet that was infested with fleas and they were informed of was coming apart right after we moved in. Also they said that if you use the stove, the drip pans need to be replaced and the apartment needs a professional cleaning crew to get it ready for the next tenants. Allegro
August 26, 2015The Allegro apartments have been busy working on getting the outside cleaned up. They just re-paved the whole complex. And as people move out I've noticed the carpets are getting replaced as well. The rent could be cheper and/or lock the resident in at a rate that won't change at each new signing. February will be my 2nd year here and if they up the rent another $100 at this signing I may start looking at other options. Overall it's a safe place to live.Review from Apartments.com
Covington's Best
August 22, 2015I have lived in this complex for almost 3 years, and absolutely love it. The location is central to all Covington has to offer. You can easily walk to plenty of restaurants or retail shopping. It's right off the freeway, so starting my commute is no pain at all. The parking situation is great for my building. There's an entire vacant parking lot right next door, so there's always ample parking for myself and plenty of guests. My neighbors are quiet and respectful. Awesome
August 2, 2015They are a little expensive but well worth it. They are very friendly and always willing just to have a conversation with me. The apartments look like they were built yesterday. I have lived in Covington my whole life this is the best place I have lived. It is quiet and we can't hear the neighbors at all. You can't even hear the free way. There are tons of places to eat and shop within walking distance. The area around is beautiful there is so much to do outside. I would recommend this to anyone. ...They are even pet friendly. Allergo Apartments
July 24, 2015Allergo is located in Covington WA. Overall it is a clean and safe complex. The office staff changes A LOT! So it's hard for issues to be resolved. None residents seem to find ways into the lock pool area a lot. This has been mentioned to the office several times and they still haven't managed to fix it. Covered parking is an additional monthly fee. There are towing signs located all over the property, but are useless. Residents that don't pay for the covered spots, always get away with parking ...in the available covered spots. The clue house is supposed to be available to the residents 7 days a week to enjoy the gym. A few weeks ago they took Sundays away without notifying the residents until 2 weeks later. The cost of rent goes up $100 at the time of a new signing...making these apartments to expensive over time....and definitely not worth the value. They have a park with an old play toy that looks unsafe and ratty, I would not let my child play on it. If the office staff could stay the same and at least show some kind of compassion for it's residents, I think in would be a better place. Covington has 2 new properties in the stages of being built.
