MOLD
October 17, 2025I lived at Alta Porter in Brookhaven for over three years. For the last two, I battled recurring mold and moisture throughout my unit — ruining clothing, furniture, and personal belongings. Despite multiple maintenance requests and visible proof of mold, management repeatedly denied there was a problem, blaming “airflow” and refusing any reimbursement. My HVAC filter wasn’t changed for almost a year (behind a locked panel), and I was left to handle medical issues and thousands of dollars in ...property damage on my own. Even after independent testing showed mold, they refused to provide internal test results. The final “solution” was an offer to leave without penalty — no compensation. Do not rent here if you value your health or belongings. The units trap moisture, and management shows zero accountability when problems arise.Property Manager Responded

Love it here
