Kouri Property Management Doesn't Return Security Deposits
December 4, 2024I recently moved out of the Altoona Terrace Apartments and had a very disappointing experience regarding the return of my security deposit. Despite leaving the apartment in excellent condition and providing a forwarding address, the management deducted $250 for "cleaning and blinds replacement,". I extensively cleaned the unit and documented the condition with a full video walkthrough, which clearly showed the apartment was in good shape. To make matters worse, I was told I was owed $150 after ...these deductions, but I never received the money. Multiple attempts to contact the property management went unanswered, showing a lack of professionalism and accountability. I would caution anyone considering renting here to be mindful of how deposits are handled. This experience has left me frustrated and disheartened.
