Kouri Property Management Doesn't Return Security Deposits
December 4, 2024 - Review from Apartments.comI recently moved out of the Altoona Terrace Apartments and had a very disappointing experience regarding the return of my security deposit. Despite leaving the apartment in excellent condition and providing a forwarding address, the management deducted $250 for "cleaning and blinds replacement,". I extensively cleaned the unit and documented the condition with a full video walkthrough, which clearly showed the apartment was in good shape. To make matters worse, I was told I was owed $150 after ...these deductions, but I never received the money. Multiple attempts to contact the property management went unanswered, showing a lack of professionalism and accountability. I would caution anyone considering renting here to be mindful of how deposits are handled. This experience has left me frustrated and disheartened. Tenants deserve transparency and fair treatment, which was sorely lacking in this situation.Read More
